When they were satisfied, he told his disciples, Gather up the fragments left over, so that nothing may be lost. So they gathered them up, and from the fragments of the five barley loaves, left by those who had eaten, they filled twelve baskets. The feast of the Precious Blood of our Lord was instituted in 1849 by Pope St. Pius IX, but the devotion is as old as Christianity. The early Fathers say that the Church was born from the pierced side of Christ, and that the sacraments were brought forth through His Blood.

Contact Ryan RCIA- Fr. Palatucci is beginning a new RCIA program for those interested in completing their sacraments or become a newly baptized adult member of Catholic Church.
