Hopefully the antibiotics will kick in by the time comes! Speaking of which, we will have three services on Ash Wednesday to kick-off Lent: 7:30 a.m. (English), 5:30 p.m. (English) and 7:00 p.m. (Spanish). As for our To view the pictures of our parish mission, check out... We were blessed that two priests from the religious order The Marians of the Immaculate Conception (Fr. Diego Maximino & Fr. Bill Hayward) were able to lead our, first by celebrating Masses on February and then leading the mission on February 20-22, Some 150 strong attending all three nights of our parish mission, which focused on the subject of the Divine Mercy. By far, this was the most successful mission in the history of St. Patrick's Church and we are so grateful for all that participated. Accompanied by presenter Judy Adamowicz and cantor Anna Nuzzo, Fr. Bill and Fr. Diego spent a great deal of time with the St. Pat s faithful, guiding them through a life of prayer and fellowship necessary to build a relationship with God. Quoting the writings of St. Faustina and the teachings of the Marian community, Fr. Diego and Fr. Bill did a wonderful job uniting the faithful of St. Pat s! 1

2 As stated last week,, which takes place on Saturday, March 4 th starting with the 4:00 Mass, followed by the Irish Dinner in the gym from 4:00 8:00 p.m. As with last year, our Corned Beef Sandwich Dinner costs $10, our Corned Beef Platter runs $13 (which includes soda bread and dessert) and our Irish Stew Dinner runs $15 (also including soda bread and dessert). The entertainment for the evening includes on the bagpipes (at Mass and at the dinner), the and Irish Music by the local folk group. Next weekend is the fourth Sunday of the month, which we have designated as FOOD PANTRY & VINCENT DE PAUL SUNDAY. Please consider the manner in which we can help serve our Lord by serving those less fortunate than ourselves. 2. For the purchase of the books, feel free to drop a dollar or two in the collection basket in the future, if you wish. 3. Our annual IRISH MASS & DINNER takes place on Saturday, March 4 th, where Bagpipe Music, Irish Music with the Band Rusty Detour (who are going to bring a posse of diners with them to the gymnasium) the Keigher Irish Dancers (who will bring their own posse), and all the Irish offerings (Corned Beef & Cabbage, Corned Beef, Irish Stew & Pasta) will be present at the event. Please support our respective groups by participating at these dinners. 4. On Ash Wednesday, we will be taking a SPECIAL COLLECTION FOR THE CHURCH IN EASTERN EUROPE. We ask you please to be generous towards this cause. 4

5 5. This year, our ST. PAT S CCW will be sponsoring their SOUP CANS FOR THE MISSIONS in the entry ways of the church. If you so choose, you will be asked to pick up a baby bottle next weekend, fill it with change during Lent and bring the cans back to church on Palm Sunday. Fr. Tim Andrés, Fr.
