Next week, I have been asked to record a 45 SECOND HOLY WEEK MESSAGE ON OUR ONE CALL SERVICE, offering Easter blessings from the parish. There are a couple different messages I could offer one that lists the service or another with just a nice message. I have included both in the Notes this week; please tell me what you think. With Holy Week coming next week, I ll save the description of all the activities until the next Notes. If you have not yet had a chance to write letters to the nine RCIA CANDIDATES who will receive their sacraments at the Easter Vigil on April 15, please do so this week. We will be holding a retreat for them on Sunday April 7 th in our Columba Room and we really want to show them how much they are loved and supported by our community! We had a splendid CONFIRMATION RETREAT for our teens last Saturday (see pic above) and we are also preparing for our Bread Ceremony for our Second Graders this weekend. PLEASE HELP OUR LETTER CAMPAIGN FOR OUR RCIA ELECT! As is customary at St. Patrick s Parish, we have asked our community during the Season of Lent to pray even more for the men and women of our community who will receive the initiation sacraments at the Easter Vigil. As a sign of support from our community, we ask that you write a note of support for these elect and drop them off the in display located in the Narthex during the Fifth Sunday of Lent and Palm Sunday. Thanks for helping us support those who wish to enter the faith life of the Church at Easter. 5. As has been our custom at St. Patrick s, we will be offering a FREE BUS TOUR around the city of Joliet following the 7:00 Holy Thursday liturgy, as we visit other churches around the city who are offering evening vigils.
