The repository will remain open until 11:00pm, at which time all are invited to join in Night Prayer from the Liturgy of the Hours. GOOD FRIDAY, APRIL 14 Solemn Tenebrae at 10:00am Stations of the Cross in Spanish at 10:30am Stations of the Cross for Children at 1:00pm Solemn Commemoration of the Lord s Passion with the chanting of the Passion, veneration of the Cross and Holy Communion 3:00pm The church will remain open for personal prayer following the afternoon service. Stations of the Cross 7:00pm HOLY SATURDAY, APRIL 15 Solemn Tenebrae at 10:00am The Great Vigil of Easter 8:00pm The vigil begins with the lighting of the Easter fire in front of the church. EASTER SUNDAY, APRIL 16 Mass will be celebrated at 7:30am, 9:00am, 10:45am, 12:30pm, and 2:15pm (Spanish) The Sacrament of Penance will be available on Monday, April 10 from 3:00 to 9:00pm in our church and in every parish in the Archdiocese of New York and the Dioceses of Brooklyn and Rockville Centre. If you ve been away from confession for a long time, there s no time like the present to be overwhelmed by God s mercy! ** Please note: confessions will not be heard on Saturday, April 15, nor is there a 5:00pm Mass that day. ** PALM SUNDAY OF THE LORD S PASSION - APRIL 9, 2017

Couples who are awaiting the birth of a child are invited to contact the parish office to schedule an appointment with one of the priests. Sacrament of the Sick The sacrament of the sick is available to anyone who is acutely or chronically ill, or suffering the effects of age. Please speak with one of the priests. Fr. 3 LENTEN REGULATIONS Good Friday is a day of fast and abstinence. ABSTINENCE: Forbids the eating of meat and must be observed from the 14th birthday on. FASTING: Only one full meal may be taken. Two smaller meals may be taken to maintain strength, but these taken together should not equal another full meal. Fasting obliges from the 18th birthday to the 59th birthday.
