FIRST RECONCILIATION & EUCHARIST AND CONFIRMATION: One full year of religious instruction is required prior to the actual year of Sacramental Preparation. Please contact the Pastoral Assistant for more information. WEDDINGS: Arrangements need to be made with the Pastor at least six to nine months in advance. 2 PALM SUNDAY MARCH 20, 2016 We welcome all guests and newcomers to our parish family. Newcomers are asked to register at the earliest opportunity. Forms are at the table in the back of the church. We are glad you are with us! COMMUNITY PALM SUNDAY SERVICE: All are welcomed to join the Ministerial Alliance for the Community Palm Sunday Service at St. Jude. The ecumenical service will begin at 6PM. Other churches and ministers around town will join us. Please invite your friends and family. EASTER LILIES: The Altar Society will be collecting for Easter Lilies after mass this weekend, March 19 th and 20 th. ATTENTION: Please use your BUILDING FUND envelopes as we begin to build up our savings for the Parish Hall Renovation Project. Town Hall feedbacks have indicated that we should go ahead with the full upgrade plan, which costs around $320,000. We are working on the architectural details and will present them to the Diocese soon. If we get approved, we will need to have at least $160,000 in our savings before we can plan on building. Please help us save money for this much needed renovation. Our HOLY WEEK schedule is as follows: 1) Mass of the Lord's Supper (3/24) is 7PM at Christ the King, Iowa Park. 2) Good Friday service (3/25) is 5PM at St. Jude, Burkburnett and 7PM at St. Paul, Electra. 3) Easter Vigil Mass (3/26) is 6PM at Christ the King, Iowa Park and 8:30PM at St. Jude, Burkburnett. 4) Easter Day Mass (3/27) is 8:30AM at St. Paul, Electra and 11AM at St. Jude, Burkburnett. Are all welcome! Please invite your family and friends to join us for these sacred celebrations. ATTENTION ALL THREE PARISHES: Holy Thursday mass will be celebrated at Christ the King in Iowa Park at 7pm on March 24th. Holy Thursday Night Watch and Eucharistic Adoration at St Jude s will be held from 9pm to midnight. There is a sign-up sheet out in the Church Hall for 30 minute increments. So, please sign up and come pray. VBS is BACK! St Jude is bringing back VBS this summer in a big way. This year it is scheduled for the week of June 13 and Gillis Carroll will be guiding us on this exciting journey. There will be an initial planning meeting in Mid-March.
