Mk 6:31 We are never alone, especially when we are in Adoration. Our guardian angels and patron saints are delighted to see the souls entrusted to their care come into the presence of the Eucharistic Lord. In fact, when you go to Adoration, you give a special gift to your guardian angel. Their whole mission is to bring your soul to Jesus. Well, we come into the presence of Jesus at every Holy Hour! Take a minute in Adoration to thank your angel for their prayers and their constant, steadfast help, and maybe even offer a prayer for their intentions. In the Garden of Gethsemani, before His crucifixion, Jesus asked His Apostles, Could you not keep watch with me for one hour? Spending one hour with Jesus thus became a tradition in the Church. Every First Friday of the month we will begin Devotions to the Sacred Heart of Jesus at 5:30 p.m. Seventeenth in Ordinary Time In the Gospel, Jesus supersedes both the apostles and the crowds expectations: with little he feeds many Jesus is the sign of God s lavish presence an love. Your donation to the Society of st. Vincent de Paul is indeed a sign of God s extravagant love to the lonely and the poor. This month, through your gifts, the Society of St. Vincent de Paul was able to assist 234 families, providing $2,223 in food, $480 for utility, rent and other bill. God Bless You!

Anointing of the Sick On Thursday, August 2, 2018 at the 8:00 a.m. Mass, Father Matthew will celebrate the Anointing of the Sick. You may drop your donation off at the Parish Center. First Saturday Rosary/Devotion Come join us at 3:15 p.m. every first Saturday of the month as we recite the Rosary as requested by Our Lady of Fatima. All practicing Catholics, 65 years or older, or those who are seriously ill are encouraged to participate in the sacrament. Please sign the anointing book and take a name tag as you enter the chapel. Confession is an important part of healing. The Sacrament of Reconciliation is on Wednesdays and Fridays at 5:15 p.m., and Saturdays at 8:30 a.m.
