( Jn. 6: 40) In the Garden of Gethsemani, before His crucifixion, Jesus asked His Apostles, Could you not keep watch with me for one hour? Spending one hour with Jesus thus became a tradition in the Church. Every First Friday of the month we will begin Devotions to the Sacred Heart of Jesus at 5:30 p.m. St. Vincent de Paul Today as we celebrate Christ the King, we hear Jesus say,...whatever you did for one of the least brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me. Knowing that we find the face of Christ in the poor, this month, through your gifts, the Society of St. Vincent de Paul was able to serve many families, providing food, and utility and rent bills.
