The theme of the this year s spiritual retreat camp is Theosis Through Liturgy: The Work of the People and Their God. All applicable forms and payments are due by May 12. 6 CURRENT BISHOP S APPEAL Parish Goal: $29, Amount Pledged: $18, (51 of 108 households pledged) Pledge Payments Received: $17, Pledge Amount Needed to Reach Goal: $11, *Please note that instead of requesting $ per family, the Eparchy is kindly asking for a pledge of $ per family to allow the Eparchy to continue funding programs within our Eparchy. It has been 20 years that we have asked for $ and it s now time to upgrade that to meet the rising cost of programs from 20 years ago. Bishop s Appeal Collection For 5/6/2017: $ FRIENDLY REMINDER to our parishioners that the 2017 Eparchy of Phoenix Bishop s Appeal will end on May 31, which leaves you about 2 ½ weeks to make your pledge. 50TH JUBILEE SERVICE PROJECT: FEED MY STARVING CHILDREN The kick-off celebration as we continue to prepare for our 50th Jubilee in 2018, will be held on June 22nd at 5pm. All the clergy of our Eparchy will be present for this Moleben to our Patron Saint Stephen the Proto-Martyr. It will be followed by dinner at 6pm. The event for July is a service project which will be on July 29th from 11:15am 1:30pm. This will be held in Mesa. In order to participate YOU must register by July 20th.
