5 Our Adoration Chapel is almost finished. We will be expanding our Eucharistic Adoration hours, which are currently only on Friday mornings, to include Monday evenings starting March 18th and Wednesday evenings starting March 20th from 4:00 pm 8:00PM. These additional hours are those who would like to just stop by Church and spend any amount of time in prayer before the Blessed Sacrament or for those who would like to volunteer for the ministry of being an Adorer. Adorers are asked to sign up for a one hour time slot. The Blessed Sacrament cannot be exposed during these additional hours without the presence of an Adorer. Entrance to the Church for Adoration will be through the side door in the school yard. The front doors of the Church will be locked during hours of Adoration. After each mass this weekend (3/10/19), including Saturday evening, the Church Hall will be open and we will have refreshments, literature on Eucharistic Adoration and people available to answer any questions you may have. 6 SENIOR CITIZEN CLUB S Next luncheon is March 14th with traditional St. Patrick s day fare. Please pay the increased yearly dues of $15.00 on this day. So we know how many to plan for, please call leave a message by Feb 28th. Those who have a January, February, March birthday are asked to bring a dessert to share PLEASE ARRIVE AT 10:30 am Our Lady of Mount Carmel Sodality Will host an evening of service for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of St. Louis. We will be filling plastic Easter Eggs for their upcoming Hunt for a Cure event. Please join us on Tuesday, March 12, 2019 at 6:30pm in the church hall. All are welcome!!! The Knights of Columbus Saint Ambrose Council is once again holding the "40 cans for Lent" food drive throughout the Lenten season. The receptacle will be in the back of church clearly marked "canned goods" with a Knights of Columbus emblem on it. Please place all canned good donations in the container. After Easter Sunday, the items will be donated to local food pantries with the assistance of the St. Ambrose Society. The concept of one can per day donation equaling 40 cans donated is inspired by Christ's 40 days of fasting in the desert. If you have questions or need information, please contact Jim Allen at

7 Sacrament of Baptism Baptismal classes (for the first child only) will be held on the second Sunday of the month after the 9 am Mass. Baptisms will be scheduled after completion of baptismal classes. For information and to schedule a class, please call Deacon Joe Fragale at or by jfragale@stambroseonthehill.com. Baptisms are performed on the first and third Sunday of the month at Noon, and at 12:30 pm for visiting priests/deacons. The Cathedral Basilica of Saint Louis NEEDS YOU! Would you like to come to the most beautiful building in Saint Louis and volunteer one morning or afternoon a week. There are opportunities waiting for you as a Greeter or Tour Guide. Greeters sit at the desk in the vestibule and welcome people from around the world. Greeters are needed Monday thru Friday from 10:00 to 1:00 or 1:00 to 4:00. Tour Guides are needed on Wednesday afternoons and Friday mornings to share the beautiful mosaics in our Cathedral Basilica. You will receive training if interested in becoming a Tour Guide or a Greeter. Please prayerfully consider giving your time and talent for a few hours a week to share this great treasure of our faith. Please join us in preparation for the great celebration of Easter Sunday. Permanent Diaconate Information Night on Tuesday, March 12, 2019 and Thursday, March 21, 2019 Cardinal Rigali Center at 7:00 PM. The Office of the Permanent Diaconate will be holding informational meetings for men who are interested in exploring the possibility of a vocation to the Permanent Diaconate. Thanks The 2019 Hill House Tour Organizing Committee invites you to participate, hoping to build on the remarkable blueprint left by the 2018 organizers and to top last year s success. Houses: Have you considered showing your home? We are looking for: Homes that are rehabbed and new. A home as a creative, lived in space where you made the best of your lot size and/or existing building structure. The homeowner makes decisions on what spaces tour visitors will see. Sponsors: Funds raised through advertisement paid for the printing of the tour book and ticket last year, and along with ticket sales contributed a significant amount toward the Hill Neighborhood Center. Six hundred ticket holders plus their personal networks will see your 2019 ad. Inexpensive advertising prices range from $25-$100 (due April 5 th ). Individuals are also welcome to purchase a space in support of the House Tour. Volunteers: The glue that holds it together! Please consider volunteering.
