MINISTRY SCHEDULING All lectors, altar servers, Eucharistic ministers and parish organization coordinators are reminded that the cutoff date to submit scheduling requests for the May/June ministry schedules will be Friday, April 6. These schedules will include the ministry assignments for the Corpus Christi Masses and Procession on June 3rd. 3 COMMUNITY FISH FRY THANK YOU Thank you to everyone for all the hours worked and all the people who came to eat every week from both parishes. In addition, we wish to thank you for the donated items, baked goods, gift cards, monetary donations and the gift of your time and encouraging words! It is truly a community event! Meats will be provided by Mish Farm Meat Market (all natural meats-no steroids, hormones or antibiotics) Tickets are available for pick up after all Masses, starting the weekend of April 7 and 8. Tickets are $5 each. We hope every family will support our parish by purchasing and selling tickets to friends and family! Raffle includes: 10 Delmonico steaks, 10 New York strip steaks, 10 T-bone steaks, 3 racks of baby back ribs, 5 lbs.each of hot sausage & kolbassi, 10 lbs. each of boneless chicken breasts & thighs, 2-lbs. hot-dogs, 10 lbs. ground meat, 10 lbs. ground chuck patties, 3 lbs. beef snack sticks, assorted sauces and seasonings, plus $250 CASH! The April Socials will be on April 21 & 22 and will be hosted by the Knights. Please join us for goodies and conversation! PRAYER GROUP Thursday, April 19 at 7:00 PM in the church ~ You are invited to come for praise and worship! PATRIOTIC ROSARY Wednesday, April 25 at 7 pm in the church ~ Our country needs our prayers! ENGLISH AS A SECOND LANGUAGE Every Wednesday at 7 pm (except the last Wednesday of the month) SIX STEPS TO SANITY PROGRAM EVERY WEDNESDAY, FROM 7:00-8:30 PM (12 WEEKS) This is a faith based ministry designed to bring hope, healing and serenity to family and friends of those caught in the cycle of addiction. This FREE program is based on the book: Setting Boundaries with Your Adult Children: Six Steps to Hope and Healing for Struggling Parents, by Allison Bottke. LAWN CROSSES RELIGIOUS EDUCATION & TUTORING NEWS CCD classes will resume Sunday, April 8. Weather permitting, the children will have a special prayer service outdoors to once again pray for all of our intentions that were on the Prayer Wall. The intentions will be buried in a special place and remembered by our students. WITNESS SUNDAY will be on Sunday, April 15 for our Confirmation candidates. Sponsors are encouraged to attend and professional pictures will be taken. CONFIRMATION REHEARSAL will be held at St. Victor s Church on April 15 at 1:00 pm for both Confirmation Candidates and their sponsors. Show your faith by displaying a lawn cross at your home or cemetery. Suggested donation is $5 for the larger crosses and $3 for the small crosses. They are located in front of the meeting room.
