Bennett Robert Hill and Hazel Ann Hill by Deacon John Ellis MATT TYSON S 12th ANNUAL TOY DRIVE The Tyson Family will be having their annual toy drive to benefit the pediatric patients of Children s Hospital of Philadelphia. If you would like to donate, please bring an UNWRAPPED gift to either church after masses or to the Notre Dame School Office during school hours by December 14, PARISH FINANCIAL REPORTS Inserted in this bulletin are the parish financial reports. These reports represent many hours of work by our parish business manager, Sister Rose Mary Walsh, MA, MBA, and the office of parish financial services of the Archdiocese of Philadelphia. I thank Marc Fisher, Kaitlyn Lennon, and Sister Rose Mary, IHM, along with the Parish Finance Council for their work. Although this is a lot of information, my goal since I arrived here "5 plus" months ago is transparency concerning the parish finances. I think we've accomplished this goal with these reports. If you have any questions or concerns, we'll be happy to provide answers and to discuss them with you. EXTRA PEW REMOVED OLP CHURCH You may have noticed the space in the break in the pews is now wider in the mid-section of OLP Church. It was brought to my attention that the space was too narrow with only one pew removed, and it presented a safety hazard when returning to the one's pew after receiving Holy Communion. I think with an additional pew removed, it now provides a safer passageway. PLASTER RESTORATION You may have noticed the repair and restoration of the water-damaged plaster in several areas of OLP Church, i.e. the side entry way near the sanctuary - on the St. Joseph side of Church. With the roof repair now complete, and the leaks stopped, the new plastering is cleaning up the damaged areas. ~Father Devlin PARISH LOTTERY AND POOL WINNERS CHANCES December 2 nd Pat Newman $108 No 50/50 the weekend of 12/22 and 12/23 Tickets are available after all Masses. $1 per ticket. 6 tickets for $5.
