2 2 St. Isidore the Farmer Parish RELIGIOUS EDUCATION NO classes this week due to Thanksgiving. Have a Blessed Thanksgiving Day! Tags are available this weekend on the giving trees. All gifts must be turned in by December 9th. Please attach the tag to your wrapped gift and return it to the church you picked the tag up at. FOOD DRIVE We ask for your generosity toward donating food items for the families of the GIVING TREE again this year. If you wish gift cards may be given and can be purchased through our SCRIP program. We will be collecting for this cause the entire month of November. Pick up a list of suggested items at the entrances of the church. There will be containers at the entrances of the church for your items. THANK YOU Greeting from Nyumbani Children s Home in Kenya. I am writing to express our sincere appreciation to you and the parishioners of St. Isidore the Farmer Catholic Community. We received your gifts of rosaries and religious items. POINSETTIA S Any one wishing to donate a plant or money in memory of a loved one may do so by placing the money in an envelope marked Flowers. Their names will be in the bulletin after Christmas. Please include the names of your loved ones. Plants may be dropped off in the sacristy starting a week before Christmas. SCRIP CHRISTMAS ORDERS Are available at the entrances of the church. Please remember the SCRIP program when you are purchasing gift cards for family, friends, etc. Order forms must be in by Dec. 1. Our in stock cards are always available. ADVENT RECONCILIATION 7:00pm, Thursday November 29 at Tisch Mills Thank you to Fr. Dennis, Christal, parents, teachers, students and all who participated in the children's mass to make it a beautiful, successful Mass. Also thank you to our teachers, aides, subs, & hall monitors. Christy Tulachka COMMUNITY THANKSGIVING MEAL There will be a free Thanksgiving Dinner for people in Denmark and the surrounding communities on November 22 sponsored by several area churches. Those who would otherwise be alone, those who are away from family, or those who are unable to cook for themselves are invited to dine at Denmark High School between 11:30 and 1:30 p.m. on Thanksgiving Day. Home delivery is available, as well as transportation if needed., To prepare for the guests, we are seeking volunteers who would donate & cook turkeys, and others to bring desserts. We ll need help setting up, serving, and cleaning up on Thanksgiving Day. Our goal is to create a sense of family togetherness & community hospitality. More details to come Winter Weather Policy If any of the three local school are closed or close during the day all parish activities and classes are automatically cancelled. The parish office will also be closed. Weekend/Holy Day Masses -If the weather is really bad, Father will not attempt to go out. So Please use common sense, if it is bad please stay home. -If Father is unable to get to Tisch Mills, Christal will do a Communion Service. Weekday masses at Stangelville or Tisch Mills will be cancelled if Kewaunee School cancels. Weekday mass at Pilsen will be held as scheduled as long as anyone comes. Best Advent Ever Free program.
