2 2 St. Isidore the Farmer Parish ANOINTING MASS All Masses, THIS WEEKEND, we will be having the sacrament of the Anointing of the Sick. PARISH ANNUAL MEETING THIS WEEKEND, Sunday, October 7 at 7:00 p.m. in the parish hall. All parishioners are welcome to attend. ROSARY SOCIETY MEETING Monday, October 8 at 6:30 p.m. in the parish hall MEN S CHOIR The Men s Choir will begin again for the season. They will be practicing on Monday, October 8th at 7:30 p.m. FALL ITEMS NEEDED We are in need of pumpkins, gourds, squash, etc. for our indoor and outdoor fall decorations. If you have extras in your garden please consider donating these items. PARISH OFFICE CLOSED The parish office will be closed October 17 thru the 26th. KIDS GAME TENT We are in need of people to take over the game tent at the parish picnic for If interested please call the parish office at BIBLE STUDY Fr. Dennis will be having an adult Bible study again this fall. The classes will be in the basement of the church at Pilsen on Thursday evenings from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. The dates are October 11,18, and 25th. This year we will begin studying the Gospel of Mark. Bible study is open to all and free. Please bring a bible. ROOF REPAIR NEEDED Due to the aging of the flat roofs on the church side entrances and on the kitchen in the hall, some leaking and rotting has occurred. We need to do some repairs before winter. An estimated cost is $22, Due to unforeseen roof damage the cost will be higher than the original estimate. Any donations would be greatly appreciated. BIRTHDAY WISHES!! SENIOR RESOURCE FAIR The Kewaunee County Senior Resource Fair is Thursday, Oct. 11 from 9:00 to Noon with BINGO to follow at 12:30 p.m. Located at the Kewaunee Fairground exhibition hall, there will be several screenings available. There will also be FREE tetanus shots, flu shots ($30, must be paid by cash or check unless billed thru Medicare Part B), and Energy Assistance Applications (will need: most recent energy bill, a photo I.D., social security numbers of all household members, and proof of gross household income for prior 3 months).
