A short class is held the second Tuesday of the month at 7pm in the Rectory. Communal Baptisms are at 1pm the second Sunday of the month or any Sunday at the 11:30am Mass. ANOINTING OF THE SICK Please contact the Rectory when someone is about to undergo a serious surgery or has a great risk to health. MATRIMONY Marriage arrangements should begin a year before the proposed date of the wedding by making an appointment with the Pastor. RITE OF CHRISTIAN INITIATION OF ADULTS We welcome adults considering membership in the Catholic Church and those desiring to complete their sacraments. RICA is for you. 3 ALL SAINTS DAY Wednesday, November 1st Holy Day of Obligation Masses will be celebrated on Tuesday, October 31st, at 7:00pm and on Wednesday, November 1st, at 6:30am, 8:30am, and 12:15pm. ALL SOULS DAY NOVENA OF MASSES You may enroll your departed loved ones in the Holy Rosary Novena of Masses. The All Souls envelopes will be positioned in the Sanctuary for the month of November. Simply write their names on the envelope and place the envelope in the collection basket. Masses on November 2nd will be celebrated at 8:30am at Holy Rosary and 11:00am at Queen of Peace Chapel in Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Thank you for your continued generous support of our Pater Noster food pantry for the poor. In order to better serve both our needs we are going to change from an ongoing food collection to a once-a-month collection. Every second weekend of the month please bring any donations of non-perishable food for our food pantry. The first regular collection will be November 11th/12th. As Thanksgiving approaches, we are hoping to provide our neighbors with food for a special meal, and so although we are most happy to receive any contribution of nonperishable food, we wanted to share our specific need for: cans of corn, green beans, sweet potatoes, gravy packets, cranberry sauce; boxes of mashed potatoes and stuffing; and non-refrigerated dessert items. We would also gratefully receive any financial contributions to defray the cost of turkeys. Once again we will collect these items Nov 11th/12th. We pray that God will reward your generosity abundantly.
