Call them and tell them you are with the Goldwing group and make arrangements is the number for Wacky West Travel Park if you want to camp. Four self guided rides as well as one guided ride are planed but in case of rain we are requesting each chapter bring at least one indoor game. Valentine Nebraska is the Heart City so with your free will donation you will receive a Heart pin at check in. Another Rally coming up is the big daddy of them all, Wing Ding in Knoxville TN. NE/SD job this year is to check arm bands at the trade show. We will be working with Colorado District on Wednesday August 29th. Let us know if you are going and can help. Back on the Farm Lance & Diane just celebrated there 40th wedding anniversary. That's a awful long time to be with one person so they've decided to fix the problem. 2 Dallas Risling Asst. District Director for South Dakota Hello All: Hopefully by now you have made plans to attend the NE-SD Rally which will be held in Valentine, Ne July 26-28th. If you have not made plans that far ahead, there is still time. The host hotel will be the Niobrara Lodge, We would enjoy your presence. What a great time to catch up on happenings from other members and families from different chapters. Also a great time to find and make new friends. There will be a swap table, so bring those unwanted motorcycle items with you. May be a great time to put some cash in your pocket, ( OH, and do bring some extra greens with you, cause, as in the past, you never know what might be on the table which would look good on you or on your bike (BLING ). The rules for the swap table have not changed. All you need to do is tag your items, with your name and the price that you would like to have for your item. Any haggling on price will be done between owner and the prospective buyer, come to a deal, and pay the owner for his/her item. Boom! you are done! We are in the process of getting hangar bars for this event,( for your vest ) with one catch, you NEED to be one of the first 50 to pre-register in order to obtain one. 3 Donna and Ross Jimenez Asst. District Directors for Nebraska We ended May and started June off by attending the District Rally in Midway Utah. Four Chapter W members attended this Rally. What a beautiful area to visit and ride. Some of the activities a few of us enjoyed include, a two hour horseback ride that started off one of our mornings; a motorcycle ride later in the day to Bridal Veil Falls, outside of Heber City going towards Provo; and a ride up one of the many mountain roads. One afternoon was spent participating in on bike games, Ross and I placed 2nd on the s l o w ride. We came home from the Utah rally on Memorial Day, and then we were off again on Saturday headed out to Arizona for a 2 week vacation. We did a brief stop in Ft. Collins on Saturday to drop off our 2006 Goldwing and pick up our New 2017 Goldwing. We rode beautiful countryside and visited many places that we had not been to before. A few highlights were, the 4 Corners Monument, Prescott AZ; Hotshots Memorial State Park, Monument Valley; and Moab Utah National Park.

Well, we just ended June with closing out yet another wonderful Gold Wing Rally in Laramie Wyoming. 12 members of Chapter W were at the Wyoming District Rally this past weekend where all who were in attendance had a great time. Beautiful rides, a great City. Some of the fun things we enjoyed were, a tour of Wyoming University Athletics new sports area. A beautiful stadium, their athletes training facilities, their football players locker room. Everything was very high tech, and looked like you were at a professional teams facility. We visited the Historic Wyoming Territorial Prison with a guided tour of the facility and grounds. We ended the Rally with a catered dinner, and a show with Kip Attaway out at the Wyoming Territorial Prison. Well in a few short weeks, is OUR own District Rally, we hope to see all of you in Valentine, NE. It should be a another wonderful time with Goldwing Friends. 6 Bob Lake Team GWRRA Master Instructor Trainer Charlotte and I just returned from the 2018 Wyoming District rally. Steve and Amy Hodges, previously of Chapter NE-W have moved to Wyoming and they are now the Wyoming District Directors. This was their first Rally as DDs and they put together a great program. Rally registration started on Thursday afternoon and Steve and Amy held opening ceremonies officially opening the Rally on Friday Morning. After opening, Michael Olson, Team GWRRA Assistant MAP Director started the festivities off with a description of what the Motorist Awareness Program is and how each and every one of us could make this a success. Success equates to motorcycles being recognized by the road using public. Rally activities included dealership sponsored meals, on bike games, several great rides, one of which got to ride in the snow (they are in the mountains after all), AND we got to go to prison! The Wyoming State Historical Site of the Wyoming Territorial Prison provided self guided and guided tours. We had closing ceremonies there. Awards were distributed, a great meal was offered to those who purchased tickets and we got to listen to Kip Attaway. Many of you may remember his show from the Deadwood NE-SD Rally of His show was a riot. Thanks Wyoming District! Some photos are included below. Our Rally is coming up at the end of the month July in Valentine, NE. Unfortunately I will be teaching MSF classes so won t be able to go, BUT, you all can go and tell me what it was like. 7 Well riding season has begun and Bill and I have been to the NE-C chapter meetings several times. Tim and Larry along with NE-NE folks, Dallas and Rita, joined Chapter NE-O for its Birthday party on 6/30/2018 in Syracuse, NE. Big thanks go out to Jeff and Angie Vogt who tirelessly put on the picnic/party. Also, two new folks that I have been talking to for about 6 months made it to the party Welcome Bob and Marlene Wiesler! They have been members of GWRRA and Bob just retired in Albuquerque, NM from the Post Office. His wife moved to Sidney, IA ahead of him a year ago and he has now joined her is Sidney. They have family in the area. Come join the FUN! Until next time.

8 DISTRICT RIDE!!! District Director Lance has scheduled a District Ride on August 4 th, He will start at the parking lot off Hwy 66, 1 mile south of Central City, NE at 11 AM. We will ride to Dark Island Trail for a two mile hike on the trail. Plans are to stop at a Dairy Queen afterwards. Come join the FUN! Until next time.
