A luncheon to honor these graduates will follow in the Gym at 12:30 p.m. Youth Group Summer Intern The youth group is very excited to welcome our Summer Intern: Robert Manes.

On Sunday, May 6 we will have a formal worship service at 11:00 a.m. in the Sanctuary.

It will also be a service of recognition for our high school seniors, who will be taking part in this special time of worship. Kidz Praise Will Present the Musical Go, Go Jonah!

We will meet in the Gym at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 5 then head out to help our neighbors with their yard work. At noon we will have free jambalaya lunch at Sharp Road Park. High School Senior Recognition Sunday The high school graduating Class of 2012 will be recognized during the 11:00 a.m. formal worship service in the Sanctuary on Sunday, May 6. A luncheon to honor these graduates will follow in the Gym at 12:30 p.m. Youth Group Summer Intern The youth group is very excited to welcome our Summer Intern: Robert Manes. A face very familiar to all of us, Robert has been a member of Broadmoor all his life. He is looking forward to this opportunity to spend time with our youth and to help them grow spiritually. On Sunday, May 6 we will have a formal worship service at 11:00 a.m. in the Sanctuary. This service will have more traditional hymns, organ music, and a communion liturgy with sung responses, as found in the hymnal. It will also be a service of recognition for our high school seniors, who will be taking part in this special time of worship. Kidz Praise Will Present the Musical Go, Go Jonah! Sunday, May 6 at 6:00 p.m. in the Sanctuary A reception will follow in the Adult Building Room 101 Kidz Praise (Grades 2 6) will present the musical Go, Go Jonah! by Kathie Hill on Sunday, May 6 at 6:00 p.m. in the Sanctuary. This story of Jonah, delightfully told through humorous dialogue, energetic choreography, and clever songs. Also participating on the program will be our youngest choristers in Pre-K through 1st grade. Following the program, awards will be presented and all will enjoy a reception in Room 101 of the Adult Building. We invite everyone to come on May 6 and enjoy an evening of fun as we support our young singers!

Their production, Exodus from Egypt County, is the story of Moses set in the Old West. It s an energetic musical, complete with lights, costumes, and choreography. This is something the whole family can enjoy and it s free! Save the date now! BUMC to Host Broadmoor Elementary s 5th Grade Awards Ceremony Our church will host Broadmoor Elementary s 5th Grade Awards Ceremony and lunch on Thursday, May 17.
