3 MNUTES DEDCATED TO THE MEMORY OF Mrs. E. C. Roach March 6, March 10, 1958 MRS. E. C. ROACH, wife of the Pastor of Highland Baptist Church, was born in Guilford County. She was fully dedicated to the high calling of her husband and she assisted him greatly in all of his work. Her love for and work with children and young people was outstanding in every church field of their ministry. Her dedicated leadership was felt in all organizations. A circle she organized bears her name, "The Blanch Roach Circle". She was held in high esteem by all who knew her. No greater compliment could be paid to the Roachs' ministry than the fact they served in their home church and eleven other churches in their home county, including: Oak Hill, Welcome, Reeds, Jersey, Center Hill, Southside, Liberty, Lick Creek, Floyd, Mountainview, Erlanger, First Baptist Church, Denton. Other fields of service include Glenola, Trinity, North Kannapolis and Highland Churches. Truly, God called home one of his greatest in the homegoing of Mrs. Roach. She is survived by her husband, the reverend E. C. Roach and one daughrer, Miss Pauline Roach of the home. (also a photograph) STANLY BAPTST ASSOCATON MNUTES, 1958, p /M66st
