1 The Rev. Gerald C. Primm, pastor of Eller M e m or i a 1 Church, Greensboro, will be guest speaker for revival services set at Community ~st Church, starting Sunday and running for one week. Rev. Primm has been with Eller Memorial Church seven I years and has led his church in setting several records. Eller Memorial is the second oldest Baptist Church in Greensboro. Born in Sanford, Rev. Primm later lived in Rocky Mount. He attended N. C. State College and served four years in the Air Force in World War II. After the war, he attended the Universit of North Carolina and Bayle lfniversity. He was ordained t~ the ministry in He is a former trustee Campbel College and former president of Christian Action League of North Carolina. Since coming to Eller Memorial in Greensboro, Rev. Primm has seen an average of 58 new members join the church each year. Increases have been shown in all phases of organization work. Rev. Primm will conduct the revival services at Communit Baptist Church each evening starting at 7: 30. Congregation s al singing is planned each even ing. 2 Revival Set At Lake View The pastor of Eller Memorial tor, will deliver the S u n day Baptist Church in Greensboro sermons. will be here next week to con duct a revival at Lake View Park Baptist Ohurch. He is the Rev. Gerald C. Primm whose messages will be heard rughtly at 7:30 beginning Monday and continuing through Friday. The Rev. Primm, who h a s been in his present pastorate for the past six years, is a former trustee of Campbell College. He was born in Sanford and graduated from Rocky Mount High School. Prior to entering the U.S. Air Force, he attended N. C. State College. He attained the rank of Captain, serving in combat service as a P-38 Fighter Pilot in Africa, Sardinia, Italy, Corsica, Alaska and Aleutian Islands during World War Two. After the war he attended the University of North Caro = lina at Chapel Hill and Baylor University in Waco, Texas. In 1949 he was ordained to the ministry and served Flat Springs Baptist Church and Emmaus Baptist Church in Sandy Creek from He was i moderator for the Sandy Creek c Association from Other pastorates held were Mt. Gilead Baptist Church at Rt. 1, Pittsboro and Calvary Baptist Church of Raleigh. The minister is a former pres- : ident of the "Christian Action ' League of North Carolina. He is married to the former Ethel Brown of Greensboro and they are parents of two sons. A schedule of the church's Sunday activities include Sunday School at 9:45 a. m. and morning worship at 11 o'clock. Training Union convenes at 6:30 and. evening worship at 7:30. The Rev.
