THIS SUNDAY MAY 6th Bring a side dish to share and join your church family for fellowship and fun after worship and celebrating the Lord s Supper Please prayerfully consider the blessings we receive when we let the Holy Spirit lead us to fulfilling our call to be the church of Jesus Christ. As you are filling out your time and talent sheet this year, please give special consideration to getting involved in one of the areas where participation has dropped off a little in recent years: Counting: You don t need an accounting degree to count the offering. If you can count, you are qualified! Counters always work in pairs, so you will have the help of an experienced counter as you learn. Ushering: Likewise, no advanced skills are needed to usher. Well, being able to count comes in handy since the ushers count worship attendance. Otherwise the main responsibilities for ushers are greeting your church family as they enter the sanctuary, lighting the candles on the communion table, taking up the offering and picking up the friendship pad registers following worship. Power Point: We now have a few more people on the power point presentation rotation, but it would be helpful to have even more. You don t need advanced computer skills to run the power point. Just ask anyone currently helping with this ministry if you have any reservations about it. It would also be helpful to have a couple of people willing to prepare the power point presentation prior to worship and to run the sound system during worship now that James has retired! These duties take a little more technological expertise, but anyone who uses a computer on a daily basis can learn how to do it. We will gladly find an expert to train you! Stewardship really is a way of life. We are blessed to have so many at Fellowship that take this seriously people who regularly include serving the church physically and financially in their walk with God.

Anne grananne@comcast.net or Sally fellowshipchurch@comcast.net with any questions All Adult & Teen Volunteers need to fill out a form from the bulletin board or online Senior Friends had a delightful luncheon at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, May 1, at Food Glorious Food. Fourteen were there for lunch: Lin, Libbie, Patti, Marie, Meredith, Harriet, Melanie, Carol, Dick, Bill, JoAnn, Tara and Susan. Judging from the expression on everyone's face, the food was excellent and the service was exceptional. After lunch we drove to The Governor's Mansion where we met Wanda, Bill, Jan and McKenzie for the 1:00 P.M. tour conducted by new Docent, Jan Morphew, who shared with us the history of the Governor's Mansion and its contents. While there we spotted a visitor in the garden: a native Florida Raccoon -- maybe a relative of the Chief He Coon who once lived there. Our next meeting and final meeting for this season will be on Tuesday, June 4th. Suggestion for lunch and activity will be greatly appreciated. Bill

This Year s Theme is: BABY MAMAS literally, our Mamas as babies and our youth as our Mama s babies!! *Please bring with you a photo of Mom as a baby and the youth group member as a baby for a matching game. Lots of other fun activities as well as a delicious dinner to appreciate Mamas who cared for us as Babies.

4 Thank you!! Words cannot express our gratitude for the outpouring of love and good wishes we received these last few weeks. The music and expressions of gratitude last Sunday will stay in our hearts forever. Special thanks to all who contributed to the wonderful party, gifts and love offering. We re looking forward to more hotel stays than originally budgeted for thanks to your overwhelming generosity! Most of all thank you for being our church family for 10+ years. For walking with us, praying with us and for us, worshipping in unity and peace together and for making our lives rich and fulfilled in ways we never imagined.
