1 Roe Fulkerson Lodge No. 299 F. &A.M From The East Brethren, I am honored by the turn out at the Installation on January 11th, and thank all who attended the Ceremony and lunch thereafter. Without the support of the Brethren and Families, myself and my Officers would have a tough year. I look forward to seeing all friends and families of this Lodge at the open events and meetings. I have sat down with my Officer's this past month and have decided on a few Open Meetings and Events for the 2014 year. Saturday, March 22nd is going to be our Annual Lodge Picnic. We will have the Picnic at T.Y. Park (Topeekeegee Yugnee Park), as we did last year. Please mark your calendars, and more detailed information will be sent out in the next few weeks. Further into the year we will be having a Writing/Essay/Art Competition with one of our local K-9th Grade Schools. We held an Open Meeting like this in the past, and it was nothing short of a complete success. We will be adopting a school/teacher further into this year, assisting them with Supplies that they may not have, as well as supporting them in any way possible, within our abilities. I look forward to solidifying a strong relationship with the Broward County School System. I will continue the tradition of having a "Service Awards Night" Open Meeting for our Brethren that have hit those landmark years of service and dedication to the Craft. That's always a momentous occasion for the Brothers receiving the reward, as well as the families who come to cheer them on. There will be more announcements on future events, as the year progresses. Master Mason Catechism classes have been resumed, and is open to any Master Mason who would like to become Proficient in the 3rd Degree. Please contact W:. Ken Paulsen or R:. W:. Al McDonald should you like to complete an important step in your Masonic Career. Our first Stated Meeting in March will be the Official visit of the District Deputy Grand Master, R:.W:.
