Despite the showers, which were most needed all over the state of Texas, our Lodge members continued to display the passion for our town and brothers alike Looking Back During the month of October we obtained the Traveling Gavel from St. Johns Lodge in McKinney. We had a tremendous turn out and a great visit with our brethren to the North. We conducted a Fellow Craft and an Entered Apprentice degree while also attending the MWSA meeting. Also very exciting was the Scottish Rite Fall Reunion. We have two new Scottish Rite Masons at Allen Lodge. Appreciate all of the brothers from Allen Lodge involved in the work at the Scottish Rite Temple. You represent our lodge in such great fashion! THANK YOU to the brothers who were present and in attendance to support our newest Masons. We also had our best concession stand for the year. Great work outside the lodge. We also continue to do the work to keep our city clean! Thank you to our Keep Allen Beautiful clean-up crew! November Stated Meeting This Stated Meeting will be opened in an Entered Apprentice Lodge. We look forward to a full house. We will be celebrating the beginning of the holiday season with our traditional Thanksgiving Family and Friends meal. Thank you in advance to our Stewards! I look forward to seeing all of the different family favorites as we all dine together! It appears that the Traveling Gavel will be short lived as word has arrived that our brethren from the East will be coming to visit and to retrieve it for their lodge. (Continued)

Page 2 of 5 Greetings from the East (Continued) November Stated Meeting (Continued) I believe they heard we were going to be having an outstanding meal and that was the real reason for the visit! November does not see our Lodge slowing down. Thanks to our committees for preparing for more work in the community, such as the Fantastic Teeth Program and our Concession Stand Crew! Allen Masonry is alive and well! Thoughts for the Season Looking back at this year, from the West to the East, there have been so many memories with our Lodge Brothers. We have run the gamut of emotions Some very happy and sad times but NO MATTER what has happen, we have been there for one another and never missed a beat! Masonry is about much more than attending a once a month meeting. It is about being present, being supportive and not afraid of sharing. It s about healing. It s a special gift that we have and can share with the world! I pray that we continue to love one another and comfort each other in good times and bad. I hope to see all of us reach out to those who we may not have seen in a while and let them know we miss them. SO MOTE IT BE! Dues cover the Period from January 1 st through December 31 st each year. In order to attend Grand Lodge or visit other Lodges, you should have a Current Dues Card. Starting on January 1 st, 2019 your dues card must say Dues paid through 12/31/2019. You can pay by cash, check, money order, or on our
