4 FROM THE WEST Brethren, Another Month has come and gone. We seem to be staying the course. Our new E:.A:. brothers are doing well with their catechisms. They are attending our weekly workshops and appear to be very motivated on becoming Master Masons. We just had our first Family Night Dinner of the year. I would like to congratulate Brothers C.J Brenner and Drew Davis on receiving their Master Mason Aprons! I would also like to take this opportunity to thank the Provost Guard for allowing us to use their unit room at the Shrine. A Special thanks goes out to our Brother Chaplin, Paul Ippolito! Davis IV Senior Warden FROM THE SOUTH Greetings from the South, Our first Family Night went very well. A HUGE Thank you to our Brother Paul Ippolito for donating 3 large trays of Lasagna, which was amazingly delicious, and all present were encouraged to take home a plate. We had a total of 22 participate in this event and hope to double the attendance at our next Family Night, which will be Thursday 08/31/2017, again at the Shrine Provost Room: 4050 Dana Shores Dr, Tampa, FL 33634, USA map (there will be no charge for Family Nights). Stay tuned for more information. Congratulations to Brother CJ Brenner and Brother Drew Davis for receiving their Master Mason Aprons! For the upcoming events I am planning our 90th Birthday in June, which will be held at Holyrood Lodge. Additionally, I am planning monthly outings for the brethren and family to get together and have some fun and fellowship, so come out to our lodge meetings to stay current with lodge events. 5 Brethren, FROM YOUR LODGE SECRETARY We have entered the second quarter and there are some positive things to report on. We have sponsored a Little League Team and I m happy to report that they have a winning streak going. Hopefully we will have an opportunity to meet the team sometime soon. I will keep you posted. We held an Entered Apprentice Degree with 4 new EAs. The word is that they are working hard to learn their catechism. We recently held our first Family Night of the year with 22 brothers and spouses present and we all enjoyed Brother Paul Ippolito s lasagna. We also presented Brothers Drew Davis and C. J. Brenner with their leather apron. Unfortunately, we have 24 brothers who are not current with their dues for If you would like to pay your dues with a credit card, you can log into Circumscribe and do so there. 7 DEATH NOTICES PLEASE: NOTIFY Holyrood Lodge at and the Scottish Rite, York Rite, the Shrine, and other Masonic Bodies tell your loved ones; your wife, daughter, son or any close relative of your affiliation within the Masonic Fraternity. Yes my Brother, in the event of your death, tell them to notify the Secretary of all Masonic Bodies in which you hold membership. There are a number of cases each year in which we are not notified of the passing of a Brother, and we send an embarrassing dues notice to his loved ones. As your Chaplain, it is important to reach out to all of our Brothers and their families in need of prayers, thoughts, and visitations. To do this I need your help! I would like to set aside one day a month just for visitations. I cannot do this without your help. When you hear of anyone distressed, sick, or shut in - please call or me so that we can be of service.
