Saturday, June 16 9:30 a.m. We have two teams of men heading to the Baptist Men s 20 th Annual Lem Mellett Open Golf Tournament at Elbow, SK. Meet at the church at 9:30 a.m. (If you can take a vehicle, contact the church office as soon as possible!) 9:30 a.m. Men s Breakfast at Modern Café Next Sunday - June 17 10:30 a.m. Outdoor Service & Old Fashioned Picnic: See insert for all the details! 4:00 p.m. Baptism & Belonging Class: If you have questions about baptism or membership (or would like to take this step), please come to this class at the church. Baptismal service will be June 24 at 10:30 a.m. 7:00 p.m. Yellowknifers Meeting : All those planning to go to Yellowknife for SERVE 2007, please come to the church. We will be meeting weekly. Parents are welcome too!
4 MINISTRY OPPORTUNITIES We need someone to look after lawn maintenance at the church this summer. If you can help, please contact John Brice ( ) or the church office ( ) as soon as possible. If you would be willing to help with a simplified Children s Church during the summer months, please contact the church office with the dates you would be available. (Please be sure your police check has been completed!) HELP NEEDED! There is a mom (with three children under the age of five), who really, really needs an automatic washer. If you would have a used washer you could donate to her, please contact Anne Ford of the Parent Mentoring Program, Cypress Health Region at The Saskatchewan Abilities Council Summer Fun Program is back and getting ready for another season of events and activities geared towards children and youth who have special needs. Summer Fun runs from July 3 to August 9, Monday through Thursday. Carisma Toles is currently recruiting volunteers to help with the program.
