"Aerica, like Athens at her great rperiod, has aterial eans in abundance. Aerica, oreover, is free fro the influence of the now dying royalconservatives and bureaucracy which in Europe still crushes the vitality -of the living with the weight of history and tradition. Aerican life belongs to the future. Aerica has the eans and the opportunity. Has she a spiritual endowent coparable with that of the Greeks two and a half illenius ago 1 The age has yet to give proof of this. It lies with Aerica to allow a great proise to perish or to ature." Rabbi Brickner wiu deal particularly with the questions: Is Aerica Producing a New RaeiaJ Type? Is Aerica,Producing ill Distinct Culture? What is the Political Future of this Country?
3 MEN'S CLUB SPECIAL BULLETIN lit alent Nite II FATI-IER-SON DINNER UndeT the auspices of the Men's Club and Aluni Association THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 20th, 6:00 P. M. "MAI-I NISI-ITANOI-I" The Four Questions Why is this night different fro ali other nights? 1. On all other nights we eat with or withqut Dad, but on this night we eat only with Dad. 2. On all other nights we hide our light under a bushel, but on this night we can exhibit our talents in public.. 3. On au other nights, with Mother around, we do not "dip" even' once, but on this night we ay "dip" twice; once in soup and once in coffee. 4. On all other nights we eat without special festivities, but on this night we hold this Father-Son Talent Nite. DAYENU How anifold are the events which FatheNSon Night will confer upon us! Had we only a cater~d dinner and no songs,... Dayenu Had we just songs and no display of talent,... Dayenu Had we a display of talent and no prizes,... Dayenu Had we prizes and no acrobats,... Dayenu Had we acrobats and no debate between a fat-her and a son,... Dayenu Had we a debate and no original play "In the Good Old Days",... Dayenu Had we the original. play and no essage fro Rabbi Brickner,... Dayenu How uch ore, then, are we to be grateful for the fvariety that "Tal~nt Nite" preunts us. There will be an excellent dinner, new songs, a host of talent, any prirus, startling acrobatics, a fine debate between a father and a son, an original skit "In the Good Old Days," and a essage fro Rabbi Brickner.
