However, the mourner should not send items like wine and delicacies, which involve special joy. One should not send mishloach manos to someone who is within the year after losing a parent, or one who is within thirty days after losing a spouse, sibling or child r"l. However, a mourner who receives mishloach manos is not required to refuse them. One may send to a mourner's immediate family members, where the sender has a relationship with them. One may send mishloach manos to a needy mourner as a form of tzedakah. Also, one may send to a mourner who holds a professional position in which it is expected that people will send him mishloach manos as a means of support. May we know happy occasions. Second Aliyah: (25:18) Why are the Cherubim not considered idolatrous statues? Third Aliyah: (25:31) Why is it necessary for the Menorah to be constructed from one piece of beaten gold instead of the easier method of welding multiple pieces together? Fourth Aliyah: (26:28) Why is the central brace different from the other braces of the Mishkan? Fifth Aliyah: (26:34) Why must the Ark Cover be placed on the Ark only after the Ark is inside the Holy of Holies, and not before?
