28 th October The Greatest Delight - Al Malik, Al Maalik, Al Maliik Lecture by Sister Eman al Obaid Eid al Adha - Human beings did not make this occasion, Allah Al Malik is the One Who ordained and made our celebration like an ibadah. Other religions, their celebrations are not divine. When you show happiness, when eat and drink and socialise all dunya things - you get the reward for celebrating as it came from Allah subhana wa ta'ala. The two Eids Eid al Fitr (the Feast of Breaking the Fast) Eid al Adha (the Feast of the Sacrifice) come after a significant worship. Eid al Adha comes after the Hajj. For those who are not on Hajj, the first 10 days of the month of Hajj are most the most important days. Our celebration is associated with the worship, Our celebration is associated with: Magnifying Allah subhana wa ta'ala, Glorifying Allah subhana wa ta'ala, The remembrance of Allah subhana wa ta'ala. This is Yawm al Eid. Before Eid al Adha we celebrated another celebration, Yawm al Arafah. The majesty and greatness of Allah subhana wa ta'ala appears clearly on this day. Look at humanity, the people are gathered on Mount Arafah on that day, the people at home are making du a to their King, everyone has an appointment with the King. On Yawm al Arafah everyone is having a meeting with Allah subhana wa ta'ala, but in that meeting they cannot see Allah subhana wa ta'ala but they can feel that meeting with Allah subhana wa ta'ala. The people are asking, The people are supplicating, The people are invoking The people are praying The people are fasting. For those who appreciate this day it is as if Allah subhana wa ta'ala is meeting them alone. Allah subhana wa ta'ala wants you to feel so special. While your are worshiping, invoking and supplicating Allah subhana wa ta'ala deals with you as if you are the only one. You cannot get that feeling with any human being, only with Allah subhana wa ta'ala. A alem i Dhar The World of Atoms Yawm al Arafah reminds us of the first meeting with Allah subhana wa ta'ala, the first appointment with Allah subhana wa ta'ala was A alem i Dhar, this is when Allah subhana wa ta'ala brought every 1

one of us infront of Him in the form of atoms. Everybody had that appointment with Allah subhana wa ta'ala. The first appointment was to testify that no god deserves to be worshiped except Allah subhana wa ta'ala. Yawm al Arafah You don t have a lord except Allah subhana wa ta'ala. Again and again you are remembering that first appointment with Allah subhana wa ta'ala on Yawm al Arafah. Also Allah subhana wa ta'ala comes closer and closer to the creation in a way that suits His Majesty. Allah subhana wa ta'ala is the King Who rose over His throne, Who rose over the 7 th heaven, and on the Day of Arafah He is approaching His servant. His approach, His nearness is not like anybody else s. Whatever your race, whatever your background, whatever you conceal in your heart Allah subhana wa ta'ala the King knows about it. In that time Allah subhana wa ta'ala will respond to your du a and mention your name in front of the best of the worshippers, the angels. This is how important you are to Allah subhana wa ta'ala. Our worship of Allah subhana wa ta'ala is not how the angels worship Allah subhana wa ta'ala. You have the responsibility of the deen, the responsibility to carry out the commands of Allah subhana wa ta'ala with your will Allah subhana wa ta'ala is appreciating that. What makes Eid al Adha so important? with the King. Because of the appointment with Allah subhana wa ta'ala on Yawm al Arafah, an appointment Five Times a Day After Hajj we still need to have an appointment with the King a minimum 5 times a day. If you wish you can do more. Praying five times a day is a meeting with Allah subhana wa ta'ala and you will start the meeting. You, who is poor and full of faults can have a meeting with Allah the King anytime you will, anytime you wish. As soon as you say Allah Akbar you are in a meeting with. But people don t appreciate this meeting with Allah subhana wa ta'ala five times a day. They don t feel they are having a meeting with the King. They just want to quickly finish the prayer, or in the prayer they are thinking of something else. When people have a meeting with a king, the president or a head of a dept etc, look at how much people will prepare themselves for this meeting. That appointment with a human being, you need to ask for it and only if they accept will you go. With of the kings I can have a meeting with Him any time I want, anytime I wish. Why don t I appreciate the meeting with Allah subhana wa ta'ala? subhana wa ta'ala. Because I don t know my King. When you see yourself in your ibadah, minimum 5 times a day, and you can do more, why don t I feel it is a meeting with my King, what is the problem? We don t know Allah What comes in your heart when you think of your King? Someone you magnify, someone you exalt, so you want your prayer to be perfect. We really need to have that feeling AlhamdulilLahi Rabbil Alameen. Prophet Musa alaihi as-salaam loved Allah subhana wa ta'ala so much. Musa alaihi assalaam said O Allah, just let me see you. But nobody can see Allah subhana wa ta'ala. Our bodies are not designed to see Allah subhana wa ta'ala, we cannot. Allah subhana wa ta'ala is so Great, so Beautiful, our eyes and limbs cannot see Allah subhana wa ta'ala. But as soon as you say Allahu Akbar, as soon as you remember Allah subhana wa ta'ala with your tongue you have an appointment with Allah subhana wa ta'ala. Why don t we feel that? Because we don t know Allah subhana wa ta'ala. 2

We need to know about our King. Let us now know our Lord, our King. The different names of Allah subhana wa ta'ala will make you to know Al Malik Chapter (59) sūrat l-ḥashr (The Gathering) 59:23 He is Allah, other than whom there is no deity, the Sovereign, the Pure, the Perfection, the Bestower of Faith, the Overseer, the Exalted in Might, the Compeller, the Superior. Exalted is Allah above whatever they associate with Him. He is Allah, your King. You can include all the other Names of Allah in the name Allah. The hearts will draw closer to Allah subhana wa ta'ala because of His Greatness, because of His beauty, because of His Perfection. You cannot find anybody else with this name. Allah deserves the full love, the full magnification and Allah subhana wa ta'ala deserves your heart to be totally attached to Him. Allah subhana wa ta'ala is worthy to be worshipped because of His perfection, He is perfect in all the Names and Attributes. What did Allah subhana wa ta'ala say about Allah? other than whom there is no deity Don t be attached to anybody but Allah subhana wa ta'ala. Nobody is perfect like Allah subhana wa ta'ala. Nobody deserves to be magnified except Allah subhana wa ta'ala, Nobody deserves the full love except Allah subhana wa ta'ala. Anybody else, whether human, whether a messenger, whether an angel, whether living or non living know La illaaha illa Allah (None has the right to be worshipped except Allah). They don t deserve the full love, they don t deserve to be magnified. They are false gods, so don t attach to anyone in your heart other than Allah subhana wa ta'ala. Everyone else other than Allah subhana wa ta'ala is fakhir, is poor and Allah subhana wa ta'ala is Rich. Everyone else does not have the power and Allah subhana wa ta'ala is Able. Everyone else cannot harm or benefit themselves and Allah subhana wa ta'ala has the perfect ability. Before any ibadah have this in your heart. 3

Nobody deserves to be worshipped, nobody deserves to be loved and magnified except Allah subhana wa ta'ala. You have a King who is unique, whom no one else resembles. Human beings love someone to be unique, they love someone who is not resembling them. Nobody is like your King. The first Name of Allah mentioned here is. You cannot find anyone like Allah subhana wa ta'ala, this will make you humble to Allah subhana wa ta'ala when you say Allahu Akbar in your prayer. You are lowering yourself to. You are preparing yourself to have a meeting with. You start the meeting with the King of the kings. We take care of our appointments with the people, but the appointment with Allah subhana wa ta'ala is not important. Allah subhana wa ta'ala wants your heart, He wants you to magnify Him. The name Al Malik will make you to magnify Allah subhana wa ta'ala. Allah subhana wa ta'ala is the real King and you cannot find a king like Al Malik. THE DESCRIPTION OF AL MALIK The Holy One. Your King, His name is Al Qudus meaning that all His attributes are perfect. You cannot find any imperfect attributes in Al Malik. We need to thank Allah subhana wa ta'ala, AlhamduliLlah, our King is not like any other king. Al Qudus has attributes but all His attributes are perfect attributes. You cannot find one attribute which is imperfect. Any other King, any president, any minister etc is chosen because of his good qualities. But are all his good qualities perfect? The imperfection with human beings is that we sleep. Anyone other than Allah subhana wa ta'ala will sleep. Anyone other than Allah subhana wa ta'ala will one day die. Anybody other than Allah subhana wa ta'ala will someday be sick. This is just one thing, one imperfection. This is imperfection even though we may have knowledge, we may have wisdom and kindness but we have imperfections. Your King is Al Qudus, the Most Holy. All His attributes are perfect, you cannot find imperfection in Him. You are the slave of a King who is Al Qudus. This will give you more happiness and the satisfaction because I know my King is Al Qudus. The Giver of Peace. 4

Al Qudus and As Salam both mean perfection. Anybody other than Allah subhana wa ta'ala, a king is just king, but is his kingship 100%? Can you know if a judge or a ruler is 100% just. The good attributes of human beings are not perfect. Allah Al Qudus, all His attributes are perfect and huwa As Salaam, all His perfect attributes are 100%. When you look at His Mercy, His Knowledge, His Wisdom, all are 100%. All His perfect attributes are the maximum. Your King, whom you need to magnify huwa Al Malik, Al Qudus has no imperfections and As Salaam, all His attributes are 100%. In His Justice, in His Mercy, in His Wisdom, in His knowledge, in everything it is the maximum. Your King whom you are meeting with, is Al Qudus and As Salaam will never be unjust to you. A king who has authority over you, you may be afraid of, but you will not fear your King who is Al Qadus As Salaam; The Giver of Security. Look at your King with whom you have a meeting with a minimum 5 times a day is Al Mumin. You will not be afraid, the King grants security. We have so many fears, my dunya, my hereafter, the darkness s but your King grants you the security. With a King you will not be afraid, you will have the full security Al Mumin grants you the security from people, from animals, from the hereafter etc, but it needs a heart fleeing to Allah subhana wa ta'ala, someone who knows Him. Even with the fear of sickness Al Mumin will give you the security. Your King Al Mumin fulfils His promise to you and is Truthful. You cannot guarantee anyone else will fulfil their promise, maybe they will not be able to, maybe they will be absent etc. your King Al Mumin, anything He promised you He will give you that. Your King said in the Qur an if you need anything, any matter of the dunya and akhirah, don t ask human beings like yourselves, don t ask the poor like yourselves; your King, He is Truthful, He will fulfil His promise. Chapter (40) sūrat ghāfir (The Forgiver God) و [ \ل رIXY م ادU وR S أN O P ب I K م 40:60 And your Lord says Invoke to Me and I will respond to you. But we believe human beings more than we believe in Allah subhana wa ta'ala. The problem is we don t trust Allah subhana wa ta'ala. Allah Al Malik huwa Al Mumin, He is Truthful, no one more truthful than Allah subhana wa ta'ala. What other promises did Allah give us? Be grateful for what Allah subhana wa ta'ala gave you, appreciate what Allah subhana wa ta'ala gave you from the blessings. For anything which you have around you, in the dunya or the deen, Allah subhana wa ta'ala said if you will be grateful, Allah subhana wa ta'ala will for sure increase for you. This is the promise from Allah subhana wa ta'ala which we don t think about - we believe in the people more than we believe in Allah subhana wa ta'ala because we want tangible things. 5

AlhamduliLlah Rabbil Alameen. Allah subhana wa ta'ala named Himself Al Mumin but He needs a heart which trusts Him. With the du a - especially to be grateful - the shaytan will come and say who said you will get what you asked for and spreads doubts as soon as you say your du a Shaytan will say you make shukur, you are always shakir, but there is no increment! You need to deal with Allah subhana wa ta'ala with the trust. You need to deal with Allah subhana wa ta'ala without any doubts. Your Malik huwa Al Mumin. He grants you the security and He is the truthful one. Anything Allah subhana wa ta'ala promised you He will give to you. Something else Allah subhana wa ta'ala promised you. If you are Mutaqeen making taqwa - if you are pious following the commands of Allah subhana wa ta'ala and abstaining from the sins for the Sake of Allah; Shaytan will tell you you will have no friends, you will be alone, no will marry you, no one will give you a job etc. Unfortunately we take shaytan as our consultant, as our advisor! Shaytan will say on the Day of Judgement I promised you but l will betray my promise, I will never fulfil my promise. Look at what Allah subhana wa ta'ala promised you. When Allah subhana wa ta'ala promises for sure He will give to you. If you make taqwa, do the obligations and abstain from the sins for the Sake of Allah, Allah said Chapter (65) sūrat l-ṭalāq (The Divorce) d e رN \ fgk h N i ل your life will be easy (65:2) Allah subhana wa ta'ala will make a way for you. Anything Allah subhana wa ta'ala promises He will fulfil. Iman Abbas said about this ayah If the heavens came down onto the earth, Allah subhana wa ta'ala will make a hole for the Mutaqeen. For example a few years ago the markets crashed - for the Mutaqeen Allah subhana wa ta'ala will make a way out. Any problems facing the Mutaqeen, Allah subhana wa ta'ala will take them out but it needs a heart trusting Allah subhana wa ta'ala. Your Malik is Al Mumin, He grants you the Security and is Truthful, anything Allah subhana wa ta'ala promised you He will fulfil His promise. YOUR KING HUWA LA ILAHA ILLA HUWA AL MALIK, AL QUDDOOS, ASSALAM, AL MUMIN The Guardian. Muhaymin means dominant, Allah subhana wa ta'ala is having power over you, Allah subhana wa ta'ala overpowered you inside and out. You cannot escape from Allah subhana wa ta'ala, wherever you will go, Allah Al Muhaymin. You cannot hide anything from Him He is over powering you by His knowledge, by His ability by His awareness. Sometimes you have 6

something in your heart which you cannot say, but infront of Allah Al Muhaymin your heart is an open book. Imagine for how many people is Allah subhana wa ta'ala their King billions and billions. Allah subhana wa ta'ala is King over the jinn, the angels and the human beings. Allah Al Muhaymin, can you find a king which is muhaymin, which is dominant. Can you find a king who; knows everybody and what they are doing, what they are saying, what they are hiding in their hearts, what they are thinking; What you thought about in the past, what you thought about now, what you will think about in the future. This is Allah Al Muhaymin, The Overpowering. Don t ever think you can live far away from Allah subhana wa ta'ala. Imagine, a teenager maybe unhappy at home, always being told what to do by his parents he will go out thinking he can get away from his parents, but you can never get away from your Malik. Anywhere you hide, anywhere you climb, anywhere you go, inside or outside Allah Al Muhaymin. Allah subhana wa ta'ala has the knowledge, is Overpowering, is Dominant, about your thoughts and your heart, Allah Al Muhaymin. Allah subhana wa ta'ala will look at you, Allah subhana wa ta'ala will look at His servant, Allah will look at your heart; When you have an appointment with the King, When you are supplicating, when you are performing Hajj, when you are performing Umrah, when you are fasting, when you are praying; When you are doing any type of worship you need to know Allah Al Malik, Al Muhaymin. I am praying but my heart is not in the prayer, my heart is thinking about something else. What makes you to struggle? When you know Allah is Al Muhaymin. Sometimes you are doing something not for the Sake of Allah, you are not going for Hajj for the Sake of Allah, you not doing the prayer for the Sake of Allah; When you look at Allah Al Muhaymin, Allah is Dominant, you cannot hide from Allah subhana wa ta'ala, you cannot hide anything from Him. A parent may say to a child no matter what you do I know what you are thinking about ; but she doesn t. Children should not be afraid of you, we need to make them magnify Allah subhana wa ta'ala. Your appointment with the King - when you know Allah is Al Muhaymin, how will your appointment be? Imagine you have an appointment with some VIP, female, you go to the meeting and when talking to her your eyes stray away from her face, what will she say? Why did you come to this appointment? When praying how will you have the khushoo, the magnification? When you know Allah subhana wa ta'ala sees you and sees your heart. You are really in a meeting with your King, He knows where my heart turns. 7

May Allah subhana wa ta'ala give us all the Ikhlas. Sometimes our hearts turn and jump to somebody - maybe this person can do this or that or I will do this or that because of so and so. You are only worrying about the people. Allah Al Muhaymin, my King is Al Muhaymin, you purify your heart before you meet Allah subhana wa ta'ala. AL MALIK, AL QUDDOOS, ASSALAM, AL MUMIN, AL MUHAYMIN The All Mighty. Your Malik, Allah huwa Al Aziz, the All Mighty. When you have a meeting with Al Malik huwa Al Aziz nobody can defeat Him, nobody can resist Him, nobody can overcome Him, huwa Al Aziz, The Irresistible. Whatever Allah subhana wa ta'ala wills it will happen. To benefit or cause harm is in whose hands? Only Allah subhana wa ta'ala hands. Allah Al Aziz, no one can resist Him. If Allah subhana wa ta'ala wills anything it will happen. If all humanity wants to harm somebody, if they are all against you, if Allah subhana wa ta'ala does not want this harm no one can harm you. Opposite; if everybody wants to benefit you i.e. when going on Hajj everyone wants you to make du a for them, but when on Hajj you will not remember them. Or people will advise you to have lots of children as they will take care of you, but they do not benefit you. Some people have no children, but someone takes care of them. Allah Al Aziz, the benefit is not in hands of the people, the harm is not in the hands of the people. Benefit and harm are in Allah subhana wa ta'ala s Hands, so this will make you to know your King is Al Aziz. Maybe you are the head of a department, when you make a rule people will resist it if they are unhappy with it. Allah Al Aziz, no one can resist Him. When you have a meeting with Al Malik, people think this meeting is after you die. When you are worshipping Allah subhana wa ta'ala this is the meeting which you need right now, a meeting which you need now, more than you do on the Day of Judgement. When you are worshipping Allah subhana wa ta'ala don t ever think you are increasing Allah s Dominion, don t ever think your worship increases Allah s Kingship, Allah huwa Al Malik. If you don t worship Allah subhana wa ta'ala there are billions and billions of people who are worshipping Allah subhana wa ta'ala. If Allah guides you to Islam, if Allah subhana wa ta'ala guides you to do good deeds this is a favour from Allah subhana wa ta'ala. If I didn t worship Allah subhana wa ta'ala, if I didn t pray, if I didn t become a Muslim there are billions and billions in creation worshipping Allah subhana wa ta'ala. The mountains are made of rock, non living, they are a creation of Allah subhana wa ta'ala worshipping and magnifying Allah subhana wa ta'ala. This is Al Aziz, Allah is Irresistible, all harm and benefit are from Him, and Allah Al Aziz is having a status. So when you have a meeting with Allah subhana wa ta'ala you really magnify Allah subhana wa ta'ala. Don t think you are doing Allah subhana wa ta'ala a favour, you think AlhamduliLlah, Allah subhana wa ta'ala guides me to Islam AlhamduliLlah, Allah guides me to do good deeds. AL MALIK, AL QUDDOOS, ASSALAM, AL MUMIN, AL MUHAYMIN, AL AAAZEEZ 8

The One Having the Power. The One having full power over His creation, everyone is submitting to Allah. Allah huwa Al Jabbar. Everyone is a servant to Allah subhana wa ta'ala. When standing in the prayer, you are standing, bowing and prostrating to Al Jabbar. Hadith: Prophet Muhammad ṣallallahu alayhi wa sallam said imagine everything in the Heavens and the Earth, all of the creation in the hands of Al Jabber is like a mustard seed in His hand. This is the King you are having an appointment with, a King Al Jabbar, so Great, unlike anybody. For example children are afraid of big people a grandfather with a strong personality. But at the end of his life the grandfather was very weak. Any jabber, any tyrant on Earth is very weak, they will die. Allah Al Jabbar He is the Perfect Jabbar, the One having full power over His creation. This name will give you the Fear of Allah subhana wa ta'ala, magnify Him who is so Dominant, Who overpowers everybody. At the same time Al Jabbar has a very gentle meaning. The one who consoles you when you have a broken heart no one can console you, no one can fix your heart, no one give you that peace, no one can you that tranquillity of the heart except Al Jabbar. When someone did something bad to you, sometimes you cannot fight back, you feel as if your heart is broken. For some people their hearts are broken for many years. Imagine if you know no one can console you except Al Jabbar. Jabbar came from ja bi ra = the plaster used when you break a bone in order to make it heal. Nothing is more painful then when your heart is broken. You don t forget the pain of the heart - you will never forget it. The only one who can fix the pain of your heart is Al Jabbar. Your King, with whom you are having an appointment with is Al Jabbar, He is so powerful and at the same time He is the only one who can fix your broken heart. You may be very sad because of one reason or another, you need to trust Allah your King - my King who is so powerful. Nobody can give you that jabber in your heart, no one can console you except Allah subhana wa ta'ala. If you have this in your heart you won t look to people, i.e. you won t seek out people to tell you something to make you feel good. Sometimes you are very sad and you want to talk to somebody, but maybe their advice will be like poison, maybe their advice will hurt. This is what happens when we go to people to fix our heart. Your Malik is Al Jabbar. You can have a meeting with your Malik at any moment, anytime, even if you are lying down and your heart turns towards Him Allah subhana wa ta'ala knows it. If your heart turns to Allah - Ya Rabbi, I am really hurt - even without speaking, as you cannot speak when your heart hurts, but when your heart flees to Allah subhana wa ta'ala because you know your King is available anytime you want. But we underestimate Allah subhana wa ta'ala, we are underestimating our Lord by not going to Him. As soon as you turn your heart towards Him and the aid and the help will come. How? 9

Just your heart turns towards Allah subhana wa ta'ala, Allah subhana wa ta'ala will send you a message, Allah subhana wa ta'ala will make somebody come to you. Allah subhana wa ta'ala will make your son or your daughter come to you and give you a nice smile. You go somewhere and someone will hug you and you feel so good. You don t know how Allah subhana wa ta'ala will console you, it could be from your family, it could be from your friends, it can be from someone you don t know. It is so amazing how Allah subhana wa ta'ala fixes the hurt and the pain in your heart. You don t know how, but it needs people to flee to Allah subhana wa ta'ala. This is the appointment with Allah subhana wa ta'ala. You feel hurt in the middle of the night and no one is there to talk to, but Allah subhana wa ta'ala is there. When you travel to Allah subhana wa ta'ala it is not your body that travels to Him, just your heart is fleeing to Him. Huwa Al Mumin, He is Truthful, anybody fleeing to Him, He will be with them. What a beautiful relationship when you have that love of Allah subhana wa ta'ala, when you are really La illaaha illa Allah (None has the right to be worshipped except Allah), nobody except Him, this is a Mumin, this is the Mutaqeen. When Allah subhana wa ta'ala is with you it is as if everybody is with you. If everybody is with you and Allah subhana wa ta'ala is not with you, nobody is with you. Sometimes think about How many people am I going to?, but actually it is Allah subhana wa ta'ala, Allah subhana wa ta'ala is our Malik. This is Al Jabbar and Allah subhana wa ta'ala loves it if you insist and if you ask Him. Allah subhana wa ta'ala loves it if you go to Him frequently with a small matter, not like human beings. Allah subhana wa ta'ala loves it. Allah is Al Jabbar, people try to hurt you but Allah subhana wa ta'ala will console you. People try to put you down Allah subhana wa ta'ala will elevate you and honour you. This is your Malik, this is Allah subhana wa ta'ala. AL MALIK, AL QUDDOOS, ASSALAM, AL MUMIN, AL MUHAYMIN, AL AAAZEEZ, AL JABBAR The Supreme For a human being this is a dispraised attribute. But for Allah subhana wa ta'ala it is a perfect attribute. Jabbar is not a good attribute for a human being, it means a tyrant but for Allah subhana wa ta'ala it is a perfect attribute. Nobody deserves to be jabber or Al Mutakabir except Allah subhana wa ta'ala. For a human being mutakabir means someone who is arrogant or proud and that doesn t suit the human being. Al Mutakabir huwa Allah. It doesn t suit the human being to be mutakabir because they are imperfect. Allah huwa Al Mutakabir, the One with majesty and the One having the pride. Al Mutakabir is from the root word kabir, Allah subhana wa ta'ala is the owner of the honour and the majesty. Nobody is mutakabir, nobody is great, nobody is kabir except Allah subhana wa ta'ala. Allah Al Mutakabir, the One with pride and the majesty which suits Him because He is perfect in attributes. The name Al Mutakabir came after all these attributes and qualities of Allah subhana wa ta'ala. Allah huwa Al Malik is having the full majesty and pride. Hadith: The majesty and pride does not suit the human being they are only for Allah subhana wa ta'ala. Allah subhana wa ta'ala s majesty and greatness are perfect. 10

When human beings are proud they will oppress the people, they will be unjust to the people, maybe they will harm the people. Allah Al Mutakabir huwa Al Kabir, He is the Most High, He is the Most Great, He is the most big in everything. When you are having your appointment with Allah subhana wa ta'ala in your prayer you will say Allahu Akbar. Allahu Akbar means Allah is the Greatest. Allahu Akbar means Allah is greater than my desire, greater than my children, greater than my family, greater than my friends. Allah is the Greatest from everybody, He is the greatest because of His perfection When you know that Allah huwa Al Mutakabir, He is the Greatest, He is the Highest, He is the Owner of the pride and the honour, He is far away from being unjust. Allah Al Mutakabir so increase in remembering Him, increase in worshipping Him; increase in thanking Him. Draw closer to Him, Allah subhana wa ta'ala, He is the King, when you go closer to Him, Allah subhana wa ta'ala will come more closer to you. If you go closer to Allah subhana wa ta'ala walking, Allah subhana wa ta'ala will come closer to you hastening, running. This is your King. You do a little and Allah subhana wa ta'ala gives you more. This is Allah subhana wa ta'ala, Al Mutakabir hadha huwa Al Malik, this is your king. Du a This is the best invocation. oonobody is like Allah subhana wa ta'ala. 11

o..no resemblance no partners, free your heart from everybody except Allah subhana wa ta'ala. Why? o.belongs to Him is the kingdom o..all the praises belong to Allah because of His perfections oand He is able to do all things. This is your king with whom you are having an appointment with. We mentioned before in A alem i Dhar we had an appointment with Allah subhana wa ta'ala, on Yawm al Arafah the people are having an appointment with Allah subhana wa ta'ala, but actually everyday, every moment you can have an appointment with Allah subhana wa ta'ala. When you are taking care of this appointment in your life, this appointment with the King Allah subhana wa ta'ala will make the appointment with Him on the Day of Judgement easy for you. Everybody needs to know: we had an appointment with Allah subhana wa ta'ala in the beginning and in the end, we all have a fixed appointment with Allah subhana wa ta'ala. In between these two appointments we need to approach Allah subhana wa ta'ala, we need to come to Allah subhana wa ta'ala. On the Day of Judgement, the real kingdom is in Yawm al Qiyamah; the kingship will be removed from everybody, the ownership will be removed from everybody, Nobody will be an owner and nobody will be a king except Allah subhana wa ta'ala Chapter (40) sūrat ghāfir (The Forgiver God) 40:16 The Day they come forth nothing concerning them will be concealed from Allah. To whom belongs [all] sovereignty this Day? To Allah, the One, the Prevailing. This is our appointment on the Day of Judgment. Everybody will be infront of Allah subhana wa ta'ala, no one will be absent, nobody will be hidden. For whom is the kingdom, who is the 12

king on that day? Nobody is the king, nobody is the owner except the kingdom belongs to Allah the Unique (Al Wahid), the one Who is Irresistible (Al Qahhar). I want that meeting to be easy for me, because this is for sure, the beginning and the end. How will I make it easy for me? While you are alive, Alhamdulillah Allah subhana wa ta'ala gave us life, anytime you can approach the King, approach His forgiveness, approach His mercy, approach His love, approach to His pleasure. You don t have anybody besides Allah subhana wa ta'ala, no one except Allah subhana wa ta'ala, this is your King. Out of Allah subhana wa ta'ala mercy you are having one King on the Day of Judgement, not two. AlhamduliLlah fadhli Allah, from the mercy from Allah subhana wa ta'ala you don t have two judges, you have One Judge, One King, One Ruler on the Day of Judgement.
