For the Names of Allah you need to fill your heart with its meaning. The moment you get to know the meaning you will realise that it will start happening. For example for Al Fattah when you know that Allah guides you through legislations of Deen then also gives you insight for practicing your deen you will see that the same will start to happen in your life. This is how you reach to Allah. You should have a strong belief in this name. Never try on Allah s name by saying that let s if this happens. You need to have full confidence in ALLAH s name. The true confidence is that you have true faith and not that you become proud. Now adays you see so many fitnahs around you so Allah will guide you in a situation on how to deal with this situation. Al Fattah with recompense Al Fattah with recompense means that you get the return either in this world or in the Hereafter. For the world; Allah will recompense in this world to the believer so that they can keep on doing their work. This is to motivate the believer. So that the believer keeps on doing the good deeds and remains motivated. The real recompense is in the Here After. Recompense in the world A l Fattah is the One who differentiates between the one who is possesor of the truth and possesor of evil. So they can be differentiated and Allah will deal with them differently. First step

3 Kno w i n g A l l a h A l F a t t a h 3 was to show you the truth and falsehood and now its about the people who follow the truth and those who follow the falsehood. This is related to Allah s name An Nasir that he gives victory to the one who follows the truth. Allah will separate them by giving them victory. He is the One who grants victory to the one who follows the right path and the other party will suffer defeat. Victory against the clear enemy Al Fattah in the world is by giving victory to the followers of the righteous path. Allah will give them honor and salvation by saving them from the plots of their enemy. First step was to show you the truth and falsehood and now its about the people who follow the truth and those who follow the falsehood. When Allah gives the follower of truth victory so this encourages them to keep moving ahead. If we see Prophet s life all of them had to go through a lot but they were victorious in the end. They all got victorious in the end. In Quran AL Fattah is used as this meaning.

4 Kno w i n g A l l a h A l F a t t a h 4 The Prophet is asking a dua that Allah Al Fattah grant us victory. As in a prophet s life they keep spreading the mesasage and struggle so now the Prophet is asking that now Allah separate amongst us and the enemy. Here Fattah is used in the meaning of Nasir. Believer will not go with what people say they just see what is the truth whatever comes from Allah. People usually say that Islam is old and they follow fashion. Now adays people will do weird things like they buy expensive clothes in the name of fashion that are torn. Don t be hasty when it comes to victory. You need to have a lot of patience for being victorious. In battles like fought at the time of Prophet you have a visible enemy. Allah will give victory in such battles is by casting terror and fear in the hearts of disbelievers. This is a very important matter in the battle you need to be very strong and firm. You cannot win without confidence. This was given to the enemies of Prophet Muhammad (Sallalaho alihi wassalam) even if they were far away from the Prophet (Sallaho Alihi wassalam). At the same time Allah will keep the believer firm and confident and they will not get scared at the times required. You need to be patient so for your enemy they will live in fear and you will be satisfied. A believer will have no fears in their hearts they get the support from Allah. Allah promises that if you are a believer then Allah will give you victory. You should be happy about yourself from being among the believers. This part of the name tells us that we should not be scared from our enemies if we are on the right then Allah is with us so we don t need to fear anything at all. You don t need to humiliate yourself in front of your enemies.

5 Kno w i n g A l l a h A l F a t t a h 5 Allah is assuring us that He will give victory to the Mumineen. Allah obliged Himself with certain things like Allah has obliged Himself with Rahmah. In the same way Allah obliged Himself to give victory to the believers. We need to have faith and we have to be patient. Victory against the hidden enemy Allah will also give us the victory for the hidden enemy like our Nafs al Amaaara and Shaitan. Shaitan can be from the Jinn and among the humans. The shaitan among the Jinn can only whisper to us. If there is a whisper from the Jinn then you say so he will go away. The more dangerous enemy to us is the Shaitan among the human being as they are the ones who lead us astray. They will push you to do sins. The problem here is that you are affected by such people. Some people are on mustaqeem and shaitan caannot stand this so the last trick of Shaitan is to make people arround you unhappy from you so that you become sad. Don t let shaitan win with this trick. So be careful in such situations. You need to be very patient and accept the situations from Allah. Don t think that this person is bad because he/she is dictated by the Shaitan and it s a test for you. With all these hidden enemies remember that Allah is the One who can help you defeat these enemies. Our Nafs is always with us and we have to fight with it all the time. Till the human beings have soul in them Shaitan will be a problem for them and will keep on trying to trouble them. Ahmed Ibn Hanbal was on his death bed unconcious and his son asked him to say Kalimah shahadah so Ahmed Ibn Hanbal replied

Ahmad ibn Hanbal replied that when I was unconcious Shaitan came to me and he was biting his fingers with regret and said that I could not over power you oh Ahmad. So he replied no not yet I have to fight you till my last breathe. Shaitan wanted to make him proud at the last moment and destroy him. At the last moment of your life Shaitan will always try at this moment to make you do something so that you lose the battle. Everybody is a test for you. Shaitan is your worst enemy and wants you to los Jannah. Allah will help you defeat these enemies that are attached to you all the time. You need to hold the rope of Allah always. Attach to Allah you are helpless and you need to ask Allah. You just need to have faith and rest the victory will come from Allah. This is out of Allah s mercy. Victory to disbeliever Allah will give victory to disbeliever in some cases. Sometimes some disbelievers are oppressed by a ruler. So Allah will grant them victory over that ruler. This is out of Allah s generosity to the disbeleivers that Allah will give them victory even if they are ruled by a muslim ruler! Allah will give victory to the one who is fair. For e.g. if someone is a muslim and proud and thinks that the non muslims are going to hell fire so they keep their maids without a/c in the kitchen. So in this situation Allah will give victory to that woman who is oppressed and she will be blessed with Islam. So she becomes better than the muslims. We cannot oppress someone not even animals. May Allah never make us a trial for the non

7 Kno w i n g A l l a h A l F a t t a h 7 muslims. Sometimes we make our own bad image in front of non muslims. So many non muslims think that we are in a bad mood in Ramadhan. This is fitnah for disbeliever, they might not come to Islam because of your attitude. How will Allah give victory Through the soldiers of Allah. This is the means through which Allah will give victory to the beilevers. Like Allah will put fear in the heart of the enemy so this is a soldier of ALLAH. as this became a means for victory of muslims. Some examples are: Angels sent to support Prophet Muhammad (Sallaho alihiwassalam) Wind sent against the nation of Aad Ababeel carrying stones to destroy the enemy The nation that got destroyed from the cry At the time of Musa all that Allah did to firaun Eathrquakes, floods etc A small fly that went in Namrood s nose What are the signs that I should have so that we deserve Allah s victory? Faith. You need to have more faith by knowing Allah. Patience. You need to be very patient as you cannot get victory if you are hasty. Rely on Allah. When you rely on Allah that He will give you victory so He will surely grant you victory. If you rely on yourself then you will fail. For e.g in the battle of Hunain the muslims were proud of there huge number so they could not get victory. We can take the means but we trust only Allah.
