1 Names of Allah- Al Wakeel 9 th October 2012 When you look at the names of Allah Subahanawatha'la- every name of Allah Subahanawatha'la has an impact on our life and our ibaadah and even our relationship with everyone around us! Now this impact will not happen after you hear only one lecture but the knowledge needs to be there all the time! Our heart is like a valley where we need lots of rain so that it will overflow in the valley and have an impact for us! So we need the 2 nd step to help us become better: Yaqeen Certainty! The more we need the knowledge in order that we get this yaqeen! Now how can we get this yaqeen? We might try hard to learn but who said we can get the yaqeen? Allah! Allah Subahanawatha'la he took charge of everything in order to give you the yaqeen! How? How? With Allah's nurturing and decree! He might put you in a situation where you learn about a certain name of Allah and then in order to get the yaqeen he will make you go through a situation where you need to implement this name! We might fail a few times but if we pass then after that we can get the yaqeen! So Allah Subahanawatha'la forces you to go through the different nurturing in order to give you the yaqeen! And the nurturing of Allah depends on who you are! We might all hear the same knowledge but not everyone will go through the same nurturing and not even at the same time! The more you have belief the more Allah Subahanawatha'la will nurture you straight away! But say you are a new student and you come to the class for the first time you cannot do an exam then and there right! You need to go through classes and classes. So same with us! We might be new to the religion and seeking knowledge but the nurturing might not come to us immediately because we are still new! But the more a person has Iman and knowledge then the nurturing will be more! Now we spoke in the previous lectures about the General Wa'kaala how Allah Subahanawatha'la took charge of everything when he guided us and provided us and took care of us..even your own self you cannot take care of your own self! So when we know this we really see the Ni mal Wakeel! Because we will think why are we wasting our lives going behind humans who are fakeer to help us with even one matter! Because Allah Subahanawatha'la I the REAL Wakeel!

2 And Alhamdulillah that Allah Subahanawatha'la didn t give us the choice to decree our own lives! Allah Subahanawatha'la is so perfect in attributes and even when he gave you the decree this is from his name being Al Wakeel and from the general Wa kaala! Then we went to Wa'kaala al Khaassa! And this is something we need to seek it! It is only for the special people- those who gave Allah Subahanawatha'la to take charge of every matter in their lives! And who are these people? Those who KNOW Allah! Now we will make comparison between two types of Wa'kaala: Wakaalathul Khaaliq & Wakaalathul Makhlooq Now to give responsibility it doesn t mean it s only an outside thing but it is how your heart relies and trusts on Allah! In your heart you are Mutma inn! Haven t you seen in big hospitals people steal babies and children! Even though they are surrounded by nurses and doctors! The more you rely on them to look after the more something like this will happen! So we need to see the comparison when our hearts rely on the Makhlooq and the Khaaliq! Sometimes we rely on mobile phones and chairs even! Or about marriage: we rely on our beauty and our figures and about wealth and family etc. Sometimes we guarantee our own lives: thinking oh I will wake up in the morning and brush my teeth and pray and do this and that etc. Now with regards to the people who we take as Wakeels we cannot give responsibility to them except with something they can do! We cannot give them to take care of our heart or our blood circulation! We can never give a person to multitask! Even the robots we cannot! We have to take care of them also right! When you give anyone rather than Allah responsibility you cannot give it to them for everything but for a limited number of things! But Allah Subahanawatha'la is the Wakeel for everything! Imagine the sun and the moon who gave them the responsibility to work the way they do!???!!!! Allah! This is because Allah Subahanawatha'la is perfect in attributes and in his hands is the dominion and he is the most merciful and he can take care of everything!

3 If you give anyone [human] a responsibility of being a Wakeel it is something YOU have to appoint. We need to observe the person and see if he is good or not and then we will chose and then we have to tell them exactly also what they need to do! But Allah Subahanawatha'la made himself a Wakeel because HE DESERVES IT! Also anyone rather than Allah when you give them responsibility can they take care of it totally hundred percent? NO! They cannot! Because they might get sick or are unable to do it! But sometimes we have too much of expectations thinking they should do this and that but we cannot force them! Sometimes they are obedient and sometimes they are not! But when you give the Wa'kaala to Allah Subahanawatha'la he will make sure it is fulfilled! You incline and rely on something that cannot fulfill or own on their own and we still complain about them! Take the ladies: most of the times their complaints are about servants or maids and how they didn t do this and that etc. We cannot expect the perfection from them! Who said in the life we can find perfection?!!!!!!!!!! Only in Jannah will everything be perfection and that is why in the Hadeeth it is said: Who is the one who took care and charge of making Paradise? Allah! A place where no eye saw nor any ear heard or no thought crossed the mind of any person! Your test is now! Your reliance has to be with Allah and Allah Subahanawatha'la wants your heart! He doesn t want your actions because your actions only benefit the people! Because the minute you start to rely on any other matter that s when the problems start and things don t go as smooth as you expect! When we think oh that person will make your matters smooth with regards to any kind of business or buying things etc the minute you think a human can protect you or give you security or protect you then we will see Allah Subahanawatha'la will test us with these means! Now we need to do a few steps to get the Special Wa'kaala and Allah Subahanawatha'la doesn t want you to kill yourself in order to get this special Wa kaala! You need to take one step towards Allah Subahanawatha'la with your heart in every matter! And Allah Subahanawatha'la will come to you running! The best story about the Wakeel is with regards to Ibrahim Alai! Imagine- he was on the way to the fire! And just imagine at that critical time see his heart! Jibreel Alai came at that time asking Ibrahim Alai if he needed any help. And Ibrahim Alai he said no he doesn t want the help of Jibreel Alai but only Allah's help! And said: Hasbunallah Wa Ni mal Wakeel!

4 So what made him to say this at this situation? Because of what was in his heart! And when he said that Allah Subahanawatha'la changed the universe for him! Fire- he changed it for Ibrahim Alai! For the mutawakkil Allah Subahanawatha'la will change things for them! We just need the tawakkul! And Allah Subahanawatha'la sends us signs and signs but we fail to see it and we want more and more! When you have the tawakkul it doesn t mean that you will straight away be of the mutawakkileen! The mutawakkileen went through different phases of nurturing until they became the best! But we want to at least start now slowly and hope that Allah Subahanawatha'la will take us more and more into it! Now what will Allah az awajal give YOU when you make Him YOUR WAKEEL? This is a VIP Wa'kaala! Now in the life when you give responsibility to someone to do maintenance what do you do? You go to different companies and get a quotation and detail from them and eventually you will find the one that suits you! So in this case you are struggling and you have to go and search and check and also you have to give the money also right! When you make Allah your Wakeel for EVERYTHING: To sit To go in the car To drink water even! We cannot drink it without the help of Allah! Now how can I remember to rely on Allah for everything? At least make tawakkul Alallah in the important things you need to do! START WITH THE MAIN ISSUES IN YOUR LIFE! E.g.: someone wants their husband to be guided or someone wants their kids to be married or some people want to have a house or to have kids etc. Everyone has main issues in their lives! Even if you want to live healthy or live good- YOU NEED TO HAVE TAWAKKUL ALALLAH! Now this is where you start! As soon as you do this little by little you will add another and another and the more you add the more you will be able to have tawakkul and make you among the mutawakkileen!

5 Now with the Wa'kaala al Khaassa is not for everyone but for whom? THE BELIEVERS! THE ONES WHO KNOW ALLAH AND BELIEVE IN HIM AND TRUST IN HIM! When you trust in Allah: no one can nurture no one can guide no one can do anything except Allah! All the names of Allah should have an effect on your tawakkul! If your issue is about provision: then Allah is a Wakeel because he is Ar Razzak Or if your problem is with guidance : then Allah i your Wakeel because he is Al Haadi If you are sad or depressed or moody: then rely on Allah because he is Ar Rahman and Ar Raheem! If you feel no one loves you: you rely on Allah because he is Al Wadoodh! Depends on your situation! The Kaafireen and Mushrikeen all take other than Allah as Wakeels! WHAT WILL ALLAH GIVE YOU IF YOU MAKE HIM YOUR WAKEEL?? 1. ALLAH WILL MAKE EASY FOR YOU YOUR AFFAIRS & KEEP YOU FAR AWAY FROM THE DIFFICULTIES! Say you have a problem with your children! You don t know how to deal with them.and you don t want to go the long way by asking your mother or friends etc.so in your heart you ask Allah Subahanawatha'la and hand over the problem with Allah! In your heart you are relaxed about it because you trust Allah!

6 And Subahanallah you will see your affairs getting easy! You will not have any problems! Because Allah Subahanawatha'la is able to change the hearts of anyone he wants.so we need to make tawakkul Alallah! Sometimes when we want to travel we worry: how will I travel and go for hajj and I have so many responsibilities to take care of etc.the minute you in your heart turn to Allah Subahanawatha'la and rely on him- he will make it easy! Another thing: you want to learn Quran and memorize and learn Arabic. Just rely on Allah! Don t need to think of yourself or your memory or your books or your teacher! Allah az awajal will make it easy! It isn t the people or the things that make it easy but Allah Al Wakeel who make it easy! Allah Subahanawatha'la will protect you and make you far away from the difficulties! But of course you need to take the mean: you go to the doctors and take the medicines etc but the heart shouldn t jump to the means! At the end of the day they are merely means! The ease and difficulty is only from Allah! 2. ALLAH WILL MAKE YOU SELF SUFFICIENT AND SATISFIED! Sometimes you might take your kids to a doctor and you are not fully satisfied with the doctor because you might have doubts! But Allah Subahanawatha'la is Al Ghany- the Most Rich and He will make you satisfied with HIM!

7 Now when you are moving houses you might get movers and ask them to take care of your stuff! You might pay them and you will have to show them what to pack and what not to pack. But you will not get the full satisfaction because they can make mistakes! But Allah Subahanawatha'la if in your heart you trust him and make him you re Wakeel then you will be self-satisfied! You will never look to the means! You will feel good! And whatever that worries you: your concerns about your kid or the aakhira or your health or dhunya related matters etc. because sometimes we worry more of the dhunya than aakhira! But in the aakhira we don t know whether we will be firm at the time of death or when answering the questions in the grave or eve on the siraat! So if you give all your concerns to Allah Subahanawatha'la and make him your Wakeel you won t need to worry! You will be satisfied! So here it isn t a dua but it is a movement of the heart: your heart cries to Allah and trusts in him! So why are people sad and upset? We have a Wakeel but we Underestimate Allah! Allah who is Al Wakeel is there all the time! He is NOT absent! This is why a believer how much Allah honored them? Because they estimated Allah az awajal WELL! Surah AZ-Zumar ayat 67 Allah said:

8 د ر وا ق د ر ه و ا ر ض و م ا و ا! و ات ط و ت $! $ و ) (, ر + ون They made not a just estimate of Allâh such as is due to Him. And on the Day of Resurrection the whole of the earth will be grasped by His Hand and the heavens will be rolled up in His Right Hand. Glorified is He, and High is He above all that they associate as partners with Him! So Allah Subahanawatha'la is telling us that they didn t give HIM His just estimate and on the Day of Judgment the whole of the earth will be grasped in his hands! And the heavens will be rolled in His Right Hand! Now there was a lady who went to the doctor and they told her that her happiness hormone less. And they told her what would make her happiness hormone active? Belief! They asked her to do exercise and to have faith! The exercise is a physical thing but the faith is a training for the heart! Now see the word: Hasbuhu what does it mean? Sufficient! So it is said here that Allah Subahanawatha'la will be sufficient for him! Therefore if you trust in Allah [with the actions of the heart] then he will be sufficient for YOU! How? ALLAH WILL COMPLETE ALL YOUR MATTERS FOR YOU & MAKE ALL YOUR LIFE PERFECT & YOU WILL NEVER SEE ANYTHING WRONG WITH YOUR LIFE!

9 Satisfaction doesn t mean that Allah Subahanawatha'la will physically give them everything but in their hearts they will be content and happy with what they have and what they have will be perfect! 3. ALL YOUR UTTERENCES & ACTIONS WILL BE PERFECT AND IN THE RIGHT PLACE! When you say a word it will hit the target! E.G.: Now with the hajj festival coming and people have issues about the sacrifice and you need to tell the people the truth and what they should be doing.so you need to tell your parents or family the truth without hurting them. You cannot rely on anything! So you need to just have tawakkul Alallah and Allah Subahanawatha'la will give you the word to hit the target! Reliance on Allah will make a simple person become a Wise person! In a Hadeeth by the prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam where he said that if you draw closer to Allah Subahanawatha'la then He will be your hearing and sight etc. so this means that you will not see or hear or do things except that it is GOOD! So the test is that we need to rely on Allah with our hearts! Take the means but rely on Allah! And this will make you of the Mubaarak- Blessed ones! Sometimes we rely on our notes and our books and our memory etc.and at the time we need to use it we don t have any clue what to say!

10 4. ANY DISTRESS YOU HAVE- ALLAH WILL REMMOVE IT! Imagine Ibrahim Alai he was facing a problem and Allah Subahanawatha'la removed the distress from him! And Allah Subahanawatha'la will do it in ways it will never even cross our mind! 5. ALLAH WILL GIVE YOU THE BLESSING IN YOUR LIFE! Blessings in your life and your time and your family and health etc.

11 6. ANY EVIL ALLAH WILL ERASE THEM FOR YOU! 7. ALLAH WILL MAKE YOUR TESTS SIMPLE AND EASY FOR YOU You want to accomplish something and either you will take the long route or the short route! But Allah Subahanawatha'la will make easy for you the short route! Say you want to learn the Quran and you wonder how long it will take you but then when you have the tawakkul then Allah Subahanawatha'la will make it easy for you and let you take the shorter route!
