1 Para Tilkar Rusul Some messengers are given preference above others, each should be believed in. Tilkar rusulu ك ب ل س ر ب ا ه ل ض ف ض هض ع ب ب ض ع ب faḍḍalnaa ba ḍahum ala ba ḍ(these are the messengers we have preferred some above others.) In the great verse of Ayat al Kursi 5 names and 26 attributes of Allah are mentioned. Its recitation is a means of overnight protection from the devil. Allahu la ilaha illa ه ب لب لب ل ب قب ب و ي ق ب hϋ alḥaї ul qaїϋm.(allah! there is no God except Him, the Living, the self-sustaining.) Allah is a friend to the people who have faith. He does not leave His friends alone. He made Ibraheem (a.s.) His friend and He

2 guided him like no other. ه ب ك ب ك نب ا و ق كل ج ع ب ك نب ت ل ف كظب لب ض ق كنب Allahu waliulladhїna ȁȁmanϋ yukhrijϋhum minaẓẓulumȁti ilannϋr (Allah is the protector of those who believe, He takes them out from darkness towards the light.) A debate took place between Ibraheem (a.s.) and namrood about the power of Allah as a result of which his own fake power became evident to him and he was astonished. ا ع ب لب لب ك ا فا ب ي ل ك ب كيب ن ك لكب alam tara ilalladhi hȁȁjja ibrahїma fї rabbihi.(don t you see one who argued Ibraheem in concerning his Rabb.) The man passing by a town was taught through his food, drink and donkey; Prophet Ibraheem was taught through a bird about the life after death.

3 م هل هى ن ي ح ي وه وذ ه هد هع ها تو م qȁla annȁ yuhyї hadhihillahu ba da mawtihȁ.(he said how can Allah bring this(town) back to life after its death.) Reward for spending in the way of Allah is given in many folds. One should avoid three أب favor), (mann-reminding هان things, ( adhan-harming) كنء فئب, (ri ȁ a-showing off). ل ر ب ك نب ض ك و قنب ا ق ض ع ب كيب سلك ي كرب ه كب Mathalulladheena yunfiqϋna amwalahum fї sabїlillah (Example of those who spend their wealth in way of Allah.) Shaitan puts fear of poverty in a person in order to stop them from spending in the way of Allah. We have to be aware of his deceit. Spending is a sign of gratitude. نا ط يفن ب كض ب و لب Ash shaїṭȁnu ya idukumul faqr (Shaitan promises(threatens) you with the poverty.)

4 It is better to spend upon those who busy themselves in serving the religion and they do not insist demands. كل و ل كئب ك نب او ك ص كيب سلك ي كرب ه كب Lilfuqarȁilladhїna Uḥṣirϋ fї sabїlillah (For those who are confined in way of Allah.) Give and take of interest is unlawful. It is a war against Allah and the messenger, therefore a believer has to quit this instantly. ا ر ب ه ب ط ب ل ب ل ك رب Wa aḥallahul bai wa haarama ribȁ.. (And Allah has made trade lawful and usury unlawful.) Believers are taught that whenever they do business through loan they should write it down so that they may be saved from any problem. اب ا ه ف ك نب ا و ق ي ب ك ن ب

5 Ya aїyuhalladhїna ȁmanϋ idha tadayantum bidainin.(o believers, when you contracted one another with debt.) The last verses of Surah Al-Baqarah were from a treasure under the throne, given to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessing of Allah upon Him) on the night of Mi rȁj,and these verses will suffice for those who recites them at night. ا و نب ل س قن ب ك ف اول كزنب ط لكب Āmanarrasϋlu bimȁ unzila ilaihi (The messenger believed in what was revealed to Him.) Some worldly things are adorned for mankind. Attain this world with moderation. Our main effort should be to attain a better place in the hereafter.

6 كنب كلض ف كلب ب ب ن ض ق كظب zuyyїna linnȁsi hubbush shahawȁt (The desires were adorned for the people.) What could be a better position of knowledge, that Allah is accompanying the witness of Him and His angels with the witness of the people of knowledge! ضك ب ه ب ا ه ل ب لب لب ل ب قب ا ك ا ب او ق كض ع كب Shahidallahu annahu lȁ ilȁha illȁ huwa walmalȁ ikatu wa ulul ilm (Allah Himself testified that indeed there is no God except Him and so do the angels and possessors of the knowledge.) Allah is merciful to mankind and He also seizes and punishes the wrong

7 ر ك ن ب ه ب ه سل ب doers. Wa yuḥadh dhirukumullaha nafsahu.(and He warns you all,allah! He Himself.) The way to acquire the love of Allah is by following the messenger. The only possible way to be saved from different trials, philosophies, and visions is when the way of the Messenger (peace and blessing of Allah be upon Him) is firmly held. ر ب ن ب ض ب ك قنب ه ب ا ف ك ض ق كاب ك ب ب ه ب Qul in kuntum tuḥibbϋnallah fattabi ϋnї yuḥbibkumullah..(you (O Muhammad) say if you all love Allah then follow me, Allah will love you.) Maryam was preferred above all the women. We should ask Allah for the ability to do good deeds upon the preference given to others, and we should be

8 contented upon the decisions of Allah. ب ف كاب ا ك ا ب اب ل ب ب ن ب ه ب ي ف ك ب Wa idh qȁlatil malȁ ikatu ya maryamu innallahaṣṭafaki (And when the angels said O, Maryam Allah has preferred you.) The purpose of learning and teaching the book is to join people with Allah and make them worshippers of Rabb (Lord). ك ن ب قه ق نر هكط ك بب ك ف ض ب ض ل ك قنب كت ف ب Walȁkin kϋnϋ rabbȁniyїna bimȁ kuntum tu allimϋnalkitȁba..(rather be devoted worshippers of Rabb because of what you are teaching.) Let us use the ability given by Allah for the religion of Allah.
