1 Ayat ul Kursi a) This verse describes the oneness, power, rule and supremacy of Allah. He is one and free of any hint of plurality. He is source of survival and provides unfailing support to others. He does not need any rest or sleep as He is perfect. By His will and permission, one may intercede or help others according to the duties and laws laid on him. Allah s knowledge is absolute, infinite and perfect. Nothing is out of Allah s knowledge. Man s knowledge only gets some reflection from Divine knowledge and that too if Allah wills it. The word Kursi is symbol of authority, dominion and power. His omnipotence is signified by His throne. He maintains the existence of heavens and earth and everything contained in them. He never tires. He is the most powerful and greatest. Paragraph No.2 a) This verse declares Allah as sole creator. Allah initiated the process of creation from nothing and created the Heaven and earth and everything that is present in them. There is logical negation of offspring of God as He has no spouse. He is single and alone. He deserves for sincere worshipping. He is unique in His knowledge and His knowledge encompasses everything. He is incomprehensible to all His creations because their scope of understanding and strength of vision are too limited to fully grasp the reality of creator. He is perfect and nothing is out of his vision Paragraph No.3 a) These verses display the clear evident of Divine signs and His unity in worship. The dark night, bright day, illumination of sun and light of moon are clear signs Of God. Instead of these signs, creator of these signs deserves our sincere

2 worshipping. Allah negates the proud attitude in worshipping as untiring angels remain busy in worshipping. Turning of unproductive earth to fertile is another sign of his dignity. He Sends the water down from clouds and changes the earth to produce fruits, vegetables, wheat and other things. Similarly Allah has the power to give life to dead on the Day of Judgment for reward and punishment. Allah is dominant over all matters without any lapse. Paragraph No.4 a) These verses describe the authority, supremacy, glory and unlimited possession of God over Heaven and earth and everything that is present in them. Everything between the Heaven and earth is in his kingship. Heavens are near to burst due to fear of God. Angels fully understand the worth and glory of God. They remain engrossed in worshipping and obedience. The angels pray for the dwellers of earth who are indulged in shirk and disobedience So that Allah may not sent down a severe punishment. He continues to forgive the disobedient as He is forgiver and generous. Surah Ikhlas a) This Meccan surah deals with the unity of God. Allah is one, alone and single. He is free of any hint of plurality. Allah is perfect, everlasting and immortal. All creatures depend upon Him and He maintains an independent status. He has no Parents and no offspring. No one is equal to Him in His rank, status, power, authority, control, supremacy, dominion, influence and rule. Negation of an equal includes negation of similarity, resemblances and likeness.

3 Surah Al Fatiha a) This surah, opening of the book, a vigorous hymn of praise, a request of guidance is started with the name of Allah who is Lord of the world. Forwarding requests bluntly without praiseworthy introduction to Allah is not proper way. Divine mercy is encompassing us. His mercy may not mislead us about His justice on the Day of Judgment. Allah is not only merciful but He is also just. After realizing Allah s Lordship, His mercy and justice we request for His assistance. We worship Him alone as He is only worthy of worship. A believer forwards his request for the right path which was adopted by Prophets, truthful people, martyrs, and noble persons with the guidance of Quran and Sunnah. This path leads to salvation and success. A believer seeks shield against the wrong path of unbeliever and misguided persons who did not practise Islam as code of life. Paragraph No.7 a) These verses describe the unity of God in his worship. Addressing to the entire humanity, Allah demands to worship Him only. Allah is your creator and creator of your ancestors. He sustains and cherishes everything from inception to conclusion. He created earth as a bed not so hard becoming difficult to extract benefits and not so soft, difficult to walk. This bed is fitted with many tucks, darts and safety pins. He made the Heaven as shelter and safety cover. He sends down rain to give life to earth. The earth produces fresh fruits and food of all kinds for living organisms. Real knowledge about God as sole creator of all things rules out the idea of any partnership with God. Surah Al Alaq a) These five verses were the first ones, revealed on Muhammad through Hazrat Jibrail in the cave of Hira when he was busy in meditation and contemplation.

4 Allah created physical structure of a man comprising of bones, blood, and flesh from a mere clot of congealed blood from absolutely insignificant thing. In fact human inception is not more than a clot of blood. Allah equipped man with physical and spiritual knowledge. Allah is merciful and bountiful and uncalculated wisdom in human soul. Allah used different sources like pen to infuse knowledge into man. Pen is a source of propagation, progress, dissemination and preservation of knowledge at large scale. It dignifies Allah as the greatest teacher. Allah turned man from insignificant to possessor of knowledge. Surah Zilzal a) This surah deals with the Day of Judgment. The earth will be shaken and present order of the world will be dissolved. The earth will cast out all deed bodies along with traces evidence of words and deeds of past life. It will burst forth all hidden treasurers which will be heaped up before powerless man. Man will be astonished at the terrible jolting of the earth. Each man will present himself in his individual capacity. The people will rise from graves and will proceed in groups to stand in front of God. Any virtuous or bad action, no matter how small it may be will bear its fruit or punishment. Surah Al Nas a) This Meccan Surah urges the believer to seek Divine protection by referring to the attributes of God as Lord, king and God of the mankind. The believers are asked to seek Divine shelter against bad practice of whispering of Devil who attacks repeatedly finding human beings unmindful. Devil inculcates wrong ideas which convert to wrong actions. Heart of the man is declared as station of whispering. Human beings and jinns are identified as source of this evil of whispering.

5 Paragraph No.11 a) These verses describe the detailed story of creation of Adam, a first man. God announced to the angels that He was placing new being on the earth. Angels objected this creation by fearing that man would spread disorder on the earth. They pleaded to the creator that innumerable angels remain busy in praising, glorifying and worshipping. God created Adam, fashioning him from clay, equipped him with knowledge in spite of angel apprehensions. Superiority of man over angels proved due to God gifted knowledge. Allah said to angels to bow down to Adam in a form of respect, not worship. They all did so except Satan, who refused out of pride and arrogance, claiming to be better than Adam because he was created from fire, whereas Adam was created from clay. Satan fell from God s grace. Adam and Eve were told to live in the Garden of Eden with one restriction of not eating from one tree. But they misled by Devil violated by command. They were expelled from Garden and were told to dwell on the earth. Adam learnt from God and expressed sincere repentance to creator, The all-forgiving. He forgave him. Paragraph No.12 a) These verses provide logical proof of existence and unity of God. Hazrat Abraham selected a unique approach to infuse rational understanding amongst his people in search of the reality of lord. He began to see the futility of worshipping distant shining objects to whom the people around him attributed certain powers. Rising and setting of the stars, moon, and sun confirmed to Abraham that these celestial bodies are misfit for worship. He turned away from astronomical bodies to one Allah. At final stage Hazrat Abraham proclaimed firmly that this Lord is neither the Star, nor moon nor sun but Allah, the sole creator of all heaven and the earth. Hazrat Abraham rejected shirk.

6 Paragraph No.13 a) This verse provides detail of miracles granted to Hazrat Jesus as a support in his prophetic mission. Allah will recount these Divine favours on the Day of Judgment. Hazrat Jesus communicated with the people from the cradle after birth against normal routine when they expressed their surprise at the birth of Jesus without father. He was taught the Gospel, the wisdom and law. He moulded a lump of clay into the shape of bird and breathed life into it. He cured the blind and the lepers and brought the dead to life. The word by my leave is repeated to emphasize on authority of God. Allah protected the Jesus from Israelites who took his miracles as magic. Surah Al Dhuha a) This Surah is Divine consolation for Holy Prophet to remove his anxiety and distress caused after Pagan s criticism on delay of revelation. Taking oath of morning and evening times is way to confirm the Divine assurance. Good time with triumph will come in future as every night is followed by morning. Here is particular assurance for Prophet that Allah has not deserted him and He is not unhappy with him. It gives good news to the Prophet that hardships will come to its end and Life after death will be full of satisfaction. Our unlimited favours will make you happy. Next three verses remind the Prophet of Divine favours in form of shelter, guidance and help when he was orphan, wandering and needy. Allah has instructed His Messenger to treat the orphan with kindness and help the poor and needy. Lastly, the Surah advises the Holy Prophet to proclaim the bounties of Allah by acknowledging that all the favours granted are due to His grace and mercy. Surah Al Kausar a) This Surah is a message of Divine consolation and assurance to Holy Prophet in response to Pagan s criticism after death of Prophet Sons. Allah has awarded Kausar to the Holy Prophet for his patience and persistence. Kausar has wider range of meanings. It is meant for abundance of knowledge, goodness, wisdom and spiritual followers given to the Prophet. It is Heavenly fountain which will be granted to Prophet on the Day of Judgement.

7 The Holy Prophet is instructed to be busy in payer and offer sacrifice as a token of thanks to God for Divine favours. Allah has warned that the enemies of Prophet who will be cut off from future hope. History will not record their names in a praised manner.
