Eastridge Community Church is partnering with Refuge Pregnancy Center to fill up baby bottles to raise money! Babies are being saved from abortion. Mothers are being saved by Christ. Basic necessities of care are being administered. How does it work? Pick up a baby bottle at either campus starting today. Covington Campus-the front and side doors Jackson Lake Campus-the Atrium Fill the baby bottle(s) with loose change, bills or a check made out to Refuge Pregnancy Center. Return your bottle(s) to the Information Center anytime before/by Father s Day, June 15. One of the key goals of Brighton Their World's mission is to activate, motivate and otherwise engage people to become active participants in the fight for the lives of orphans across the globe. The ECC Mission team invites you to participate in a formula drive. Please bring powdered formula up until Father s Day and help feed orphans in Ethiopia. 4 Reach the World How can I help support the local and global ministry partners of ECC? You can pray for their efforts to Reach the World. You can volunteer locally. You can visit and serve the global mission organizations. And you can GIVE. Four times a year, March 23, June 22, September 21 and December 21, Eastridge will collect a special Reach the World offering during the Sunday services. Our goal is to raise $100, total. If every adult in attendance at both campuses gives $40.00 on each of the dates above, then we will hit our goal and fully support the Missions listed in the Reach the World directory. Visit the Information Center for a RTW Directory. The different giving options for Reach The World offering: 1. Cash and checks: Give during the service today by using the special Reach The World envelope. 2. Give online at eastridgefamily.org/give and select the drop down option called Reach The World. 3. Give with your credit or debit card at the Information Center in the lobby/atrium. 4. Give via TEXT by sending a message to and following the prompts. Once we were safe on shore, we learned that we were on the island of Malta. 2 The people of the island were very kind to us. It was cold and rainy, so they built a fire on the shore to welcome us. 3 As Paul gathered an armful of sticks and was laying them on the fire, a poisonous snake, driven out by the heat, bit him on the hand. 4 The people of the island saw it hanging from his hand and said to each other, A murderer, no doubt! Though he escaped the sea, justice will not permit him to live. Acts 28:1-4 (NLT) 1. Our can be an opportunity for God s glory. But Paul shook off the snake into the fire and was unharmed. 6 The people waited for him to swell up or suddenly drop dead. But when they had waited a long time and saw that he wasn t harmed, they changed their minds and decided he was a god. 7 Near the shore where we landed was an estate belonging to Publius, the chief official of the island. He welcomed us and treated us kindly for three days. 8 As it happened, Publius s father was ill with fever and dysentery. Paul went in and prayed for him, and laying his hands on him, he healed him. 9 Then all the other sick people on the island came and were healed. 10 As a result we were showered with honors, and when the time came to sail, people supplied us with everything we would need for the trip. Acts 28:5-10 (NLT) We can make our plans, but the lord determines our steps. Proverbs 16:9 (NLT) 4. Share your redeemed failure with someone. My grace is all you need. Confess your failure(s). 2. Ask God to show you how He can use that failure for His glory. 3. Tell someone about it. 2. God uses to put us right where HE wants us to be. And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them.
