Your support helps the CCC connect people to Christ, here and around the world through the internet, television, radio, and print media. RECONCILIATION Confessions are heard from 3:00 3:45 p.m. on Saturdays at Holy Rosary Church and 30 minutes before every Mass and 4:00pm- 4:45 pm MARRIAGE Engaged couples are to contact the office to schedule an appointment with a priest or deacon at least 6 months prior to the desired wedding date. ANOINTING OF THE SICK Call the office to make arrangements with a priest. HOMEBOUND MINISTRY If you are elderly or sick and are homebound for a considerable amount of time, please call the office to arrange to receive the Eucharist at home.

Mother Teresa, who founded the Missionaries of Charity in 1950, came to Lafayette in July 1986 to establish a chapter of her order here in Lafayette. Mother Teresa was a longtime friend of Fr. Joseph Brennan, and during her visit she prayed at St. Genevieve Church and spoke to the people of Acadiana in a packed Cajundome on July 10, The Missionaries of Charity continue to witness to the Gospel in Acadiana with four religious sisters serving in Lafayette today. National Association of Catholic Family Life Ministries in this Centennial Year, the Diocese of Lafayette is happy to host a national Marriage and Family Conference July at the Cajundome Convention Center. Please pray for the holiness of marriage and family and the success of this conference. For information on the conference and to register, visit, August 15 get your boat and join the procession - Fete Dieu de Vermilion our Eucharistic Adoration will be on the Vermilion River this year beginning in Abbeville at St. Mary Magdalen with a Mass in French at 8am. The river procession will begin after with a Rosary and Benediction then a Rosary and Benediction at s, then a foot 3:45pm from Beaver Park to Cathedral up University St. to the Cathedral Vespers at 5pm and Mass at 5:30 with Bishop Deshotel. Having 121 Church Parishes in our Diocese we would like to have at least 1 boat from each parish. 3 Meetings ~ Organizations Catholic Daughters -Under the patronage of the Blessed Mother, the Catholic Daughters of the Americas are united by their faith in Jesus Christ, in their devotion to the church and the Holy See. Meetings are held on the 2nd Tuesday of the month at Cabrini Hall at 6:15 pm. September thru June. Amen Remember Me Support Group Monday, August 20, 2018, 6:30 PM Remember Me is a faith-based support group for caregivers, family, and friends of individuals who are coping with dementia/ Alzheimer s. No cost or registration is necessary; those who are in need of support are simply invited to come and share ideas and resources with one another. The group meets in the Ministries Building of St. Elizabeth Seton Church (610 Raintree Trail, Lafayette 70507) every third Monday of each month. For more information contact the parish office at

5 Our Summer Bible Study Program is a week-long session filled with Sacred Scripture, songs, skits, arts and crafts, and fellowship - similar to the "Hi God" program of years ago. Please note, this program is optional. It will not fulfill the religious program requirements for your child for the upcoming school year. Our new CCD program will begin in the Fall. More information on that program will be shared as soon as it is available. There is still time to register for our SUMMER BIBLE PROGRAM. Unfortunately the shirts have been ordered. Our goal is to walk with young adults in and throughout the Lafayette area letting them know that we welcome, honor, and empower them to succeed. Young Adults make huge discisions in their lives. These descisions can be frightening so our day will be centered on keynote speakers ranging from Fr. Howard Blessing, pastor of Holy Cross Catholic Church, Dustin Bertrand with God Made Self Driven Ministries bringing his gifts and talents. God Made Self Driven T-Shirts avaliable to purchase.
