If this is your first child you are required to attend a class before the Baptism can be scheduled. The next Baptism class will be on April 19, 2018 at 6:30 pm in the parish office. Call the office to schedule. Reconciliation Saturday at 4:30pm or by appointment. Matrimony Consult the parish priest at least one year before your wedding date. Communion to those unable to come to Mass If you, or a family member are not able to participate at Mass and would like to receive communion, please contact the parish office. Anointing of the Sick The Sacrament of the Anointing of the Sick brings the compassionate presence of Christ into the midst of the suffering of those who are ill, aging, or preparing for minor /serious surgery. If you would like to be anointed, please contact the parish office. 4 Parish News St. Vincent de Paul Food Closet Thank you for your generous donations to satisfy the needs of the food closet. The item that is currently needed is canned peas and bar soap. Thank you for your generosity in helping to feed and care for the community. St. Vincent de Paul Today, let us pray for those who are hungry, malnourished and starving. From the Religious Ed Office: All RE registration forms from current RE families are now due! Registration will open to the entire parish on May 1. Sacrament registration will be sent home to all eligible families who are currently registered with SMOS RE, CTT, and MAA. RE classes close this week! Sunday RE 4/22 class, then closing liturgy at 10:30 am. Tuesday RE 4/24 closing liturgy at 5:00 pm. Both classes will receive Progress Report/Newsletters on closing day. They are handmade by some of our talented parishioners and are then blessed by Msgr. Hopkins. Knights of Columbus April Family of the Month David and Lynn Olkowski Dave and Lynn have been members of our parish since Dave is one of the founding members of our Knights Parish Council. He is a prior Grand Knight. He has been very active within our parish and donated his time helping with the Boy Scout Fish Fry selling 50/50 s. In previous years, Dave and Lynn have given a lot of their time to help with numerous committees and functions. This piece features soloists and choir accompanied by a chamber ensemble and organ. Stabat Mater focuses on the grief and suffering of Mary, Mother of Jesus, and her example of faith, acceptance and hope in the promise of the Resurrection.
