In him all people of all times and places can find salvation. He is not a Savior reserved to only certain people or certain nations. He calls all people to himself to find peace, love, purpose, and life. May God s Love Light your way And lead you into a New Year That shines with His Special Joy! Happy New Year! New Year's Prayer God, thank you for a new year. May everyone in our family be willing to begin anew with a clean slate. We know that you are always ready to forgive us. Help us to be willing to forgive ourselves and to forgive one another. As we begin a new year, remind us of our truest values and our deepest desires. Help us to live in the goodness that comes from doing what you want us to do. Help us to put aside anxiety about the future and the past, so that we might live in peace with you now, one day at a time.

Peter and Paul will be hosting Catholic Speaker, Doug Barry from EWTN, Life on the Rock, on Wednesday, January 6 th at 7:00 p.m. 8:15 p.m. in the Church. His Topic is: Modesty, a Virtue Worth Dying For. Parents and Teens grades 7-12 Grades are encouraged to attend. Advisory Council Meeting St. Paul Advisory Council will meet on Sunday, Jan.10 at 11 a.m. in the NW classroom. Council Members: Father Konka, Rick Harrahill, Bob Dvorak, Neil Baquet, Monte Brouillette, Bill Gregoski & Matt Rief Important Message from Bishop Hanefeldt I would like to bring to your attention that the Nebraska School Activities Association which organizes all high school sports and some other activities across the state for both public and non-public schools, is in the process of considering a participation policy for gen dysphoric (transgender) students. Member schools in NSAA District Vl, which is the Alliance area, will be voting on two potential policies on January 6 th. All other districts will be voting on January 13 th. I encourage you to act as soon as possible, and certainly prior to the dates for your school s district. Whatever action is taken could have serious and long-term safety, privacy, and competitive equity consequences for all students, including those in our Catholic schools. It also will impact social attitudes towards the fundamental nature of the human person and the family, those who suffer from gen der dysphoria, and gender ideology in general. Regardless of whether you current have students in school, your concerns about this issue are valid and need to be heard. Parents of children in public schools in particular are encouraged to learn how any NSAA policy will impact their children, and to contact their school board, superintendent, and athletic director with their concerns and position. These parents, as well as all the Catholic faithful and persons of good will, are strongly encouraged to become informed about this issue by accessing information on the Nebraska Catholic C onference (NCC) website, Those who do not have access to a computer can call the NCC at and ask to have an information packet mailed to them. Choice Wine Program As married couples, we would like to join together in Faith and fellowship, to strengthen our marriages and support each other. We would like to begin the another Choice Wine program, from Paradisus Dei in our parishes. To learn more about how to help your marriage be everything God intended it to be come to a short meeting and visit with other couples that just completed Choice Wine in December. Meeting times: Wed. Jan 6 at 630pm (before Doug Barry) or Sunday Jan. 10 at 9am in back of church. You may also call Tim or Amy Note of Thanks to all the Liturgical Ministers at the Christmas Masses.
