Faith In Action Meeting The Faith in Action Meeting will be held on Sunday, October 25 th at 4:00 p.m. in the Church Meeting Room. New Ideas are Welcome! Everyone Invited. There s still time to join! He will have a workshop at GICC on Friday, October 23 rd from 1 to 3 pm, a musician s workshop from 12:30 to 2:30 pm on Saturday, October 24 th at St. Leo s, and a free will concert at 7 pm, also at St. Leo s. Anyone interested in becoming a Knight is welcome to attend. Please call Marshall Respect Life Sunday--Life Chain in St Paul a Success! The rain managed to stay away for St. Paul's inaugural year of participating in the LIFE CHAIN Over 40 participants, young and the not-soyoung stood with signs along Hwy 281. We were not shouting or yelling at the vehicles that drove by, but prayerfully witnessing to life, as our signs read, "Abortion Kills Children," or "Adoption Loving Option" or "Abortion Hurts Women." After the temporary roar of passing trucks, the Rosary led by Father Konka and parishioners could be heard. Silent prayer concluded the hour long peaceful, prayerful demonstration. Thank you to all who came out to witness for LIFE!! We will never know on this side of Heaven whose lives were positively affected by this simple act. Ann Rief, Prolife Coordinator Prolife Banquet and Info Fair, Kearney--Oct 25 The third annual Central Nebraska Pro-Life Banquet is on Sunday, October 25th with guest speaker Rebecca Kiessling.. The information fair will begin at 5:30, and dinner will be served at 6:15. Tickets are $20 for adults and $10 for students. They can be purchased online at Tickets can also be ordered by mailing the form found in the back of church. Bishops' Prolife Banquet and Conference- -Oct The 2105 Bishop' Prolife Conference will be held Oct in Lincoln at the Cornhusker Hotel. There will be a banquet on Friday evening. The Conference on Sat. includes presentations on physician-prescribed suicide, the death penalty and Church teaching, the miraculous process of life's beginning, the Supreme Court's ruling on marriage and a message to be courageous in fighting the growing battles with the culture of death. Junior Reasland Benefit October 18 / 3 7 p.m. The United Methodist Church 1320 Baxter - St. Paul There will be refreshments and a silent auction.
