3 BUILDING & GROUNDS 房產小組 The Building and Grounds Committee takes this opportunity to thank all the brothers and sisters that helped with the projects that were accomplished during this year. I really appreciate your service to the Lord. Eustis Building (selling is in process) 1. In order to maintain a good appearance of the building environment, we need to perform a minimum maintenance at the Eustis Building. i.e. mow the lawn, cut down the dead and leaning trees. 2. Continue to sell old chairs that are no longer of use at the Terrace building. Terrace Building Items completed: 1. Updated TCCCC name on the monument by the front entrance. 2. Filed a property insurance claim for the damages of culvert. 3. Re-wired electrical supply for the tenant at In 2017, we have switched to another insurance provider with better coverage and low premium. 5. Reviewed and renewed yearly service contract with snow removal company and HVAC company. 6. Reported to construction committee about the issues for repairing under the 1 st year warranty with Langer awaiting repair. Items in process: 1. Building & Grounds committee is working together with Furnishing Committee and Construction Committee for furniture, appliances and maintenance. 2. Planning to install a under counter dish washer at Kitchen. 3. Forming an Emergency Preparedness Team and preparing a procedure of Responding to the Fire Alarm. Alfred Wong 黃超明 Items pending: 1. 4 FELLOWSHIP 團契 Ming Dong 董明 We have a total of thirty fellowships and small groups in our church. Each congregation has ten fellowships that meet at various places throughout the metro area. Some groups meet in homes or at T4C and are made up of a variety of people from all ages and life stages. Young Adults Samuel Chu & Cat Yong 7:00 pm North Metro Young adults & grad students gathering for Bible study, fellowship and building accountability. And snacks, lots of snacks! We use the Inductive Bible Study method to conduct our Bible studies. We are currently going through some of the minor prophets in the OT Young Adults-West Vince & Gloria Low 7:00 pm Golden Valley Young adults gathering for Bible study, prayer and fellowship. Young Adults-North Nathanael Chan Every other weekend Shoreview Young adults gathering for Bible study, fellowship and a meal. LAFS (Looking at Faith Sideways) - Book Club Kristen Prillwitz & Lilian Tang Once a month on 7:00 pm Minneapolis A women's book club that reads a wide variety of literature and seeks to view the literature in light of our faith and our faith in light of the literature. South Mike & Jody Tellers 7:30 pm Eagan Various ages and life-stages. Meeting weekly for encouragement and fellowship via a shared meal, Bible study/lesson, sharing, and prayer. North Ivan Lui Fri nights North Metro Adults meeting for Bible study, sharing, prayer and fellowship. Childcare available. Central Mike & Jeanne Gin 7:30-9:30 pm T4C Room W147 Various ages and life-stages meeting for Bible discussions, prayer and fellowship. Children and teens can attend programs running concurrently at church. English District Becky Windham 3rd Sat of 6:15 T4C Various ages and life-stages who meet for dinner, stimulating pm discussion and encouragement. Kool Kidz Small Group Jessica Haas 1st and 3rd Saturdays of the month, 10 am - noon St Paul All are welcome, including parents with infants and toddlers. We meet to study the Bible and apply it to our lives. As of the 2017 year-end, T4C s total regular income was $962,970 and the total regular expenses were $752,971, resulting in a net regular income of $209,999. At the same time, we used the rental income of $220,000 plus the Building Fund offering balance to pay back three members STLs, totaling $230,000 plus interest. In December, we used our extra cash in the General Fund and remaining Building Fund amount to pay back another two members STLs, totaling $80,000 plus interest. In January 2018, we used our extra cash same as in December, to pay back another two members STLs, totaling $100,000 plus interest. Our current mortgage balance is $2,769,838 and our STL balance is $170,000 plus interest As we receive our monthly rental income or Building Fund funds from the offering, we will prioritize paying back the outstanding STLs as soon as we can. 11

This budget is $14,385 less than the budget from 2017, which we were projecting to be sufficient for covering the actual costs for the year. 15 MISSIONS 宣教 Committee Members: Vincent Chan (Deacon), Elder Tike Wong (PEC Representative), Lulu Kwan, Irene Tsang, Vina Chan, Charles Chan and Steven Fu. Cross Cultural Workers T4C is currently supporting a total of 17 families and individuals doing ministry cross-culturally: two in Europe, seven in the U.S., and eight in Asia. These workers serve the Lord in a variety of capacities, such as working with students in college campuses, teaching theological classes or in communities they live in, planting churches, training of church leaders, teaching and leading bible studies, preparing discipleship broadcast programs and translating the Bible. Seminary Students T4C has been supporting members who have sought seminary education. Scholarships are awarded along with oversight by our pastoral staff. We are currently supporting two seminarians through this program. Work of the Mission Committee (MC) MC held bimonthly meetings and met with our workers who are visiting for ministry updates. Each of our workers is assigned to a MC member who is responsible for the care of the worker by regularly connecting with them and providing prayer support. Each month, a bilingual Sunday bulletin insert introduces either a worker or a short-term mission opportunity with picture and prayer requests included. Short Term Missions (STM) Pastor Gin went on a STM trip to Taiwan (4/17/17-5/8/17). Tong family went on a STM trip to Moldova (6/30/17-7/13/17). Pastor Har went on STM trips to Panama (9/15/17-10/3/17) and Belize (10/3/17-12/5/17). 3 brothers and sisters from Life Spring Campus Fellowship went on a STM to Purdue University (10/6/17-10/8/17). 14 brothers and sisters, mostly from Chong Yuen Fellowship, went on STM trips to Duluth (9/3/17-9/4/17 and 12/3/17-12/4/17) to visit restaurant friends and hold evangelical meetings. Some of them continue to have follow-up bible studies with the new believers in Betty Chan went on a 6-month STM trip Vincent Chan 陳強 to Taiwan (January-June, 2018) and Amy Chen went on a 2-year STM trip to Vietnam ( ). T4C Youth will go on a STM to Lame Deer, Northern Cheyenne Reservation, Montana (6/23/18 6/30/18). Pastor Har will go on a STM trip to Belize this Fall (Oct-Nov, 2018). Missions Weekend 2017 The theme of Mission Weekend 2017 (7/14/17-7/16/17) was Across the Street, Around the World. We praise God for His provision and we thank God for speakers encouraging messages. It was a blessing to serve together joyfully with so many brothers and sisters in preparing for the Weekend. We had a great turn out on both days, about 220 on Friday night and more than 90 on Saturday attended the meetings. We distributed 190 prayer booklets during the Missions Weekend. Pray that brothers and sisters will use the information provided and continue to pray for our mission workers. May the Holy Spirit continue to encourage brothers and sisters to spread the Good News across the street and around the world! Mission Plan and Goals for 2018 (1) Inspire the congregation in the area of missions. We encourage brothers and sisters to join cross-culture short-term mission trips. (2) Stimulate the prayer for world missions and mission workers. We continue to provide monthly bilingual Sunday bulletin insert and encourage brothers and sisters to pray for world missions and our mission workers. (3) Care for mission workers locally, abroad, on furlough, or in preparation. We maintain regular contact with our mission workers. We attend Midwest Conference on Missionary Care and Pioneers Church Partner Forum. We also meet 15

Immediately after, his R1 application was submitted to immigration lawyer. Full process takes approximately 6-9 months. Personnel Committee Oversees staff salaries, benefits, and expenses, and participates in the hiring and reviewing of staff. Staff salaries increased by 2% starting 2018 to reflect the inflation rate in the Twin Cities area. Implemented a new housing allowance request form for use by the church treasurer. 19 RESOURCES 資源部 Gideon Yong 楊丞堃 Computer Infrastructure Committee Committee members: Chee Wan Woo, Sai Yin Tong, Catherine Yong, Gideon Yong, Michael Chau and Curtis Chiang. The objectives of this committee are to provide technological support to different departments at T4C including the church office, update the T4C website and system, coordinate the use and maintenance of the sound and video systems, and purchase and install computer software and hardware as needed. We always welcome new members to join this committee! work report highlights: Curtis purchased and installed security cameras for the building. This will help monitor activity during off hours. He also helped moved over the Wi-Fi hotspots from the old building over to the new building so we have better coverage Holman Chung helped install the access control system so we now can issue electronic key fobs to give certain members 24 hour access. A computer taken from the Eustis building will now serve as a server for both the electronic access control system as well as the security camera recorder James Hollerud helped install a donated TV so that everyone in the hallway can now see the slideshow Paul Krauter and John Yau helped install a volume control for the south sanctuary cry room John Kao helped lead a team to install the old telephone system from the Eustis building. Bus Ministry Committee Members: Rodney Wong, John Kao, Tom Lindstrom The purpose of the T4C bus is to provide ride for church goers to and from T4C on Sunday morning. Six drivers rotate picking up and dropping off the passengers. It is currently serving 2-4 passengers who live near University Ave in Midway and in St Paul. Students from University of Minnesota and Hamline University are also welcome to use the service upon request via . Fellowship may also reserve to use for special fellowship events upon approval of the committee. We always welcome new members to join this committee! Special thanks to all brothers for their faithful and dedicated service. May God continue to bless and use them in bus ministry. Furnishings Committee Committee Members: Linda Tsai, Lulu Kwan, Alfred Wong, Gideon Yong, Rita Kao, Amy Woo, Ron Wong, Emily Woo The furnishings committee helps to purchase and coordinate the overall look of the church by making sure any items hung on the wall, placed on the floor or planted outside meets a specific standard and is consistent to the overall theme of the church. The furnishings committee helped select, purchase and install new furniture in the new building. This year they helped install carpeting in all the rooms as well as a few pieces of furniture to help provide some seating in the lobby area. 19

As a result of this hard work from her and a whole list of volunteers, we now have a very beautiful front garden for all to enjoy! Production Committee Committee Members: Rodney Wong, Gideon Yong, Curtis Chiang The production committee s aim is to help provide support and help to the various audio visual needs of the church. We always welcome new members to join this committee! Because the previous Eustis purchase arrangement did not go through, we were able to take the projectors from the old Eustis building and install them in 3 new classrooms! Most classrooms now have projectors in them. Not having as many portable projectors has cut down on the wear and tear that was happening before. A speaker system was also installed in both the fellowship hall and the cafeteria to help with smaller events that don t need the large sanctuaries. Communications Committee Committee Members: Hannah Wang, Lulu Kwan, Gideon Yong, Sally Cheng This year a new committee was created to help organize and coordinate the communications across the different platforms.
