Sacrament of the Anointing of the Sick Please call the parish office as soon as possible to arrange for the celebration of this sacrament for those seriously ill or in danger of death. Funeral/Christian Burial Arrangements with Parish Office must be completed before setting a date and time for the service. Communion Calls Please call the parish office if a Eucharistic Minister is needed to bring Holy Communion to a homebound or confined parishioner. Annulments Tribunal-Advocates are available to help you find healing from the pain of divorce and convalidation of a new marriage in the church. For more information, please call the Parish Office. Please turn in your pledge cards or visit: ASAP. Thank you for your support! CORPUS CHRISTI PROCESSION & BENEDICTION Sunday, June 18 is the feast of Corpus Christi. Holy Trinity parish wants to honor the Sacrifice of Jesus Christ, in His Body and Blood and God His Father, by having our first Corpus Christi Procession and Benediction. Yes, it is Father's Day. We want to give honor and glory to God our Father, who has given us our life and everything we hold precious. The celebration begins with Solemn Adoration at 1:00pm in our Church, with the procession on the Church grounds, ending with Benediction at approximately 2:15pm. This is a beautiful, loving, concrete way to show gratitude and love to God who is the First Father, of everyone. Fathers, please bring your families to join in this celebration. 5 JUNE 11, 2017 From today s 2 Corinthians reading: The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with all of you. Reflection: Our church today has the same human tensions Paul observed among the Christians in Corinth. So, as we hear his prayer for them we pray it for ourselves. Who is this God Paul preachers and calls upon to bless the divided Corinthians? He clearly believes that our triune God loves us, freely graces us in Jesus and through the Holy Spirit, is the source of our communion with each other. So we ask ourselves: - What divisions in our Church and my parish do I observe? - Shall we pray for healing and renewal for out Church at today s Eucharist? A SPECIAL EVENT FOR HOLY TRINITY SENIORS... A LUAU! The Star Seniors will join us in our social hall on Thursday, June 22 at NOON. Felix and Company will entertain us. Please bring a dish to share. Call Kathy at the parish office if you have any questions. See you there! THE PSALMS: SONGS OF ISRAEL WORSHIP OF CHRISTIANS Our summer Bible study on the Psalms begins on Thursday June 15. Join us in the social hall for "brown bag" sessions over the lunch hour at noon. Each session will be independent of the others: looking in detail at one or two psalms, exploring how ancient Jews prayed them in Temple worship, how Christians adopted them for Mass and daily prayer and helping you use them for prayer today. Contact Todd Flowerday at the parish office. If we get four people with evening availability, a second session will be offered Wednesday or Thursday at 7pm. SUMMER MUSIC Summer is a good time to dip your toes into singing at church. Just show up before Mass in the music room: Sat 4:00 for the 5pm Mass, Sun 7:15 for the 8am Mass or one half-hour before the 9:45 or 11:30 Masses. The music room is located in the faith formation wing. FAITH FORMATION High School Youth Ministry Young Adult Ministry (18-39) single or married welcome x 217/l.may@holytrinitymail.org High School Teens --- Mark your calendars for Sunday, June 25 for an end of the year campfire and games from 12:30pm to 2:30pm. ATTENTION ALL VOLUNTEERS IN MINISTRY Do you serve vulnerable adults, or work with minors under the age of 18 within a parish ministry? ALL staff and volunteers within the Seattle Archdiocese in such positions are required to begin their time of ministry by attending a Called to Protect class. This 3- hour class focuses on the prevention of child sexual abuse and elder abuse. A class will be offered here in our area, at Our Lady Star of the Sea parish on Wednesday, June 28, at 6:00pm in the Parish Center on 6th & Veneta, Rooms 1 & 2. Pre-register at Questions?
