Sacrament of the Anointing of the Sick Please call the parish office as soon as possible to arrange for the celebration of this sacrament for those seriously ill or in danger of death. Funeral/Christian Burial Arrangements with Parish Office must be completed before setting a date and time for the service. Communion Calls Please call the parish office if a Eucharistic Minister is needed to bring Holy Communion to a homebound or confined parishioner. Annulments Tribunal-Advocates are available to help you find healing from the pain of divorce and convalidation of a new marriage in the church. For more information, please call the Parish Office. There will be Adoration, a procession with the Blessed Sacrament on Church grounds and we will close with Benediction. It is this Sunday, June 3 at 1:00pm in the Church. There will be 4 Altars in the procession which will represent the beautiful ethnic diversity present in our parish. Please come and join us in prayer.

3 JUNE 3, 2018 From today s Gospel reading: While they were eating Jesus took bread, said the blessing, broke it, gave it them, and said, Take it, this is my body. Then he took a cup, gave thanks, and gave it them and they all drank from it. He said to them, This is my blood of the covenant, which shall be shed for many. Reflection: Jesus sacrifice wasn t just his death on the cross, his whole life was a gift of himself to humanity. By receiving the Body and Blood of Christ today in the Eucharist, we are asking for the nourishment and strength, indeed, the very life of Jesus, to help us do what he did to offer our lives as a gift to those we are called to serve. So we ask ourselves: - How are the daily sacrifices I make like the ones Jesus made? - How does my life reflect the true presence of Christ in the world? NEWLY DISCERNED PARISH LEADERS We give thanks to God for a successful Leadership Discernment Day on May 20 and we offer our heartfelt congratulations to all who were chosen to serve on our parish Councils and Commissions for the next three years. We ask God's abundant blessings on them for their enthusiastic "YES" to the call of the Lord to build up the community of the Church here at Holy Trinity through the sharing of their talents, abilities and life experiences. Let us keep them and all the members of our consultative bodies, in our prayers asking that the Holy Spirit bless them with wisdom, insight, vision and courage. Fried chicken will be provided; bring a favorite side dish or dessert to share. July 12, Noon in the social hall: Potluck luncheon with musical entertainment by The Heart Singers. Sing along with the oldies! August 9, Noon: Out to lunch at Scratch Kitchen in Port Gamble. Meet at the restaurant; let us know if you're coming so we can arrange seating.
