Funeral/Christian Burial Arrangements with Parish Office must be completed before setting a date and time for the service. Communion Calls Please call the parish office if a Eucharistic Minister is needed to bring Holy Communion to a homebound or confined parishioner. September Retreat Leader 15 th, 2018 Sister Monika Ellis, OSB Sister Monika comes to us from St. Placid Priory, a Benedictine monastic community located in Lacey, WA. Sister Monika is a well-respected Spiritual Director and Retreat Leader who is a gifted discerner, intuitive listener and committed companion. She has also led two of our parish Women s Retreats. Reflection: When we eat and drink the meal offered us at this Eucharist, do we realize the choice Jesus gave his disciples is also put before us? But the very fact we come forward to eat and drink is a sign of the Spirit s life in us and that Spirit will enable us to say what Peter said, To whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life. So, we ask ourselves: - Do our daily choices reveal to others our choice to follow Jesus? - How can we further commit ourselves to him today? CLASSES FOR NEW VOLUNTEERS Do you volunteer in any ministry to minors or vulnerable adults? The Seattle Archdiocese requires ALL volunteers to complete an initial "Called to Protect" class as they begin their ministry.
