2 October 4, 2015 RCIA RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults) is for any adult over the age of 18 considering Baptism. It is also for those already baptized in another Christian faith interested in becoming a Catholic by professing faith in what the Catholic Church teaches in order to become fully incorporated in the Body of Christ, the Church. RCIA will be held on Wednesdays in St. Joseph Co-Cathedral Parish Hall from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m., beginning this Wednesday, Oct. 7th. For the month of October we are asking for donations of toothbrushes for our clients in need. BISHOP S FUND UPDATE The Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception is now at 88.06% of its goal of $31,000 and St. Joseph Co- Cathedral is at 81.94% of its goal of $37,800. CEMETERY NEWS The Best Things to Say to Someone in Grief I am so sorry for your loss. I wish I had the right words, just know I care. I don t know how you feel, but I am here to help in any way I can. You and your loved one will be in my thoughts and prayers. My favorite memory of your loved one is I am always just a phone call away. Give a hug instead of saying something. We all need help at times like this, I am here for you. I am usually up early or late, if you need anything. Saying nothing, just be with the person. One of the mistakes we make is asking people in deep grief how we can help them.
