SUMMER VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL PROGRAM Save the Date & Register Now! 9AM-12 Noon Daily /Mon., July 11-Fri., July HFSL Parish Center This annual program is truly unmatched in its blending of fun and faith enrichment for our youngest disciples. Based on a Montessori approach, we will make an imaginary trip back in time to learn about another formative period of our Christian Faith. This time, we journey to a small village next to the Sea of Galilee to learn about Jesus himself. There, we will learn about some of the many ways Jesus led others to a deeper relationship with God the Father. We will also focus on how we ourselves are called to follow the Christ as disciples. The program is ideal for children, ages 5 and above (5 th grade seems to be the typical limit). Younger children are welcome to attend, but need to have a supervising adult or guardian present at all times. The registration fee is $40 / per child if completed by June 30 ($100 for family of 3 or more). After that date, the fee rises to $55 /per child (or $120 for family of 3 or more). Scholarships are always available. Registration materials are available on the website & in the back of each church. For more information, contact John McMahon ( , ext. 202). In this Sacrament of Love, Jesus Christ waits for us. Let us not fail to be generous in giving our time to Jesus in adoration, contemplating Him in faith, ready to make reparation for our own transgressions, large and small, and for the offenses of the world." ~ Pope John Paul

The scheduling of events held there in the past has been performed by myself or our parish office staff. After long discussion the Holy Family-St. Lawrence Finance Council, with the consultation of the Pastoral Council, has recommended that we hire someone part- time to take over this task and to generally manage the facility. Recently the parish has hired Michael Dowling to take over this position. Mike recently retired from being a part owner and manager of Creative Habitat, a popular store in South Burlington and has lots of experience which will be useful for the job. The position which he is starting to perform also includes promoting the rental of the Building by outside groups to earn income to maintain the building. The goal is to reach the point when the building will pay for itself from income generated by rentals. Mike will be involved in promoting the use of the building for lots of outside functions and the new fellowship hall is so beautiful that we hope that it will become a popular place for business, community and family events. From now on when you have concerns about the building, or want information about scheduling parish events or renting the building for outside events, you will be directed by Mike. The hope that this system will be successful and it will be viewed on a periodical basis by myself and the Holy Family-St. Lawrence Finance Council. God Bless, Your prayers are requested for the safety of our service men and women and support personnel working as peace-keepers and for those who are ill especially ~ Shaun McGuire, Robert Vaccaro, Taylor Blais, Catherine Wiest, Donna Girard, Linda Zeno, Mack Riley, Nina Balch, Guy Domingue, Marc Kamhi, Patricia Reilly, Joseph Deso, John, Alex, Bridget Vitale, Haley Reen, Erna Schmitz, Riley Lavigne, Ray Lamore, Fernando Luis Riganti, Julia Sessa, Sherry Harvey, Andre Domingue, Barbara Slattery, Clara Szell, Janet Bonneau, Eileen Fleiter, Quenten Fabano, Allison, Nora Thomason, Jordan Hutchins, Mary Blais, Joan Penrod, Shirley Aiken, Jeff Boomhower, Steve Stoddard, Lindsay Diminick, Katie, Sophie Fellows, Kate Noon, Lenore Badolato, Brantley Brooks, Ciera Charbonneau, Al Putlitz, John W.
