All are welcome to attend. Normal dismissal procedures Mission Statement Our Lady of Lourdes School exists as a ministry of the Catholic Church to proclaim the Gospel message. Recognizing that each person is a unique creation of God, we endeavor to provide a strong spiritual, academic, and emotional foundation enabling students to realize their full potential. Student Action Code I believe that Jesus is present in each of my classmates and in my teachers, therefore all my actions will show respect for Jesus.

2 Online Lunch Program Information: Ice Cream is available for order. It is now listed on the lunch calendar under desert. Prices will be.50 and $1.00. There is a wide assortment of different items available. Lunches will now only need to be ordered 1 week in advance. Please see order schedule below: Week of 10/24 Order by 10/14 Week of 10/31 Order by10/21 Any lunches that were ordered for 10/5 and 10/6 have been adjusted. Please feel free to call the office with any help regarding online ordering. Fall Dance: Friday October 14th at Ascension. See flyer for additional information. 3 The Royals Dance and Cheer team will be starting practices on Wednesday afternoons. Girls in grades 5th thru 8th are invited to join. Sacramental Prep Information Sacramental preparation for any student in 2 nd through 8 th grade who has not celebrated the Sacrament of Reconciliation or First Holy Communion. 6 In the spirit of celebrating the National Bully Prevention Month throughout the month of October, we have turned it into OLL Kindness Month!! Throughout this month, I will be tying in the virtues with the example of being Kind to others. In doing so, the students will join their peers in signing the UNITY PLEDGE POSTER to be displayed in the breezeway for the month of October. Poster/Essay Contest I will also be hosting a poster decorating contest for grades PK-2nd and an essay contest for grades 3-5th & 6-8th. The contest will start this week and the teachers have the guidelines for the contest. We will have 1st, 2nd & 3rd place prizes per grade level categories (PK-2nd, 3-5th, 6-8th) & all finalists will be awarded a certificate and an ice cream party with Ms. Nixon at the end of the month! Orange Tickets For the month of October, in order to celebrate our Kindness month, students who demonstrate kindness will receive an orange ticket instead of a blue one. These orange tickets represents 2 blue tickets! Unity Day Wednesday, October 19th I will have the students write their names and a message about unity on strips of orange construction paper to create a chain to hang up around the school for this day. The students will also be invited to wear an orange shirt with the regular uniform to honor unity in our school. Become a Champion Against Bullying Show Your Support of PACER's National Bullying Prevention Center I have registered our school to become part of the Champion Team!!! We are very excited about celebrating this with the kids! We are trying to promote a positive atmosphere and with everyone's involvement, We can do it!!!
