Empowering All Minds Through God Dear Parents and Guardians Thank you so much to all families that helped work and all families who attended our pancake breakfast! It was so fun to see all the students taking pictures with Santa! In the spirit of Christmas and gratitude be sure to look for a letter from your room parent asking for donations for a staff gift. Our amazing staff works so hard for your children each and every day, I know a little extra something from the parents would go a long way! Important reminder that we are having our Crab Feed early this year in mid January so tickets will go on sale tomorrow. We will be sending out a google form to fill out tomorrow morning. In order to reserve your tickets or table you must first fill out the google form and then pay in the office. Any payments not received by December 19 th may result in a loss of your reservation. We are now into our holy Advent season so here are the Advent resources that I gather for you every year, for your own education and for different activities you can do with your children. I hope you can take some time to watch these or look through these and find some you like. Feel free to share others you like and I can send them out to the community. 2 ISSUE #15! THURSDAY, DECEMBER 07, 2017 Advent Tea! The Catholic Daughters will be hosting their 3rd Annual Advent Tea on Saturday, December 9th. There will be music, a guest speaker and the auction of the Christmas trees, wreaths and nativity that our students and staff helped to decorate! Proceeds go towards scholarships for the students! Our talented 2nd Grade Instructional Assistant, Mrs. Connell created this beautiful nativity for the auction! Annual Advent Program Be sure to mark your calendars for Tuesday, December 19th for our Advent Program which takes place at 7pm in the church. The students along with their teachers and Mr. Rathje work very hard to present this gift of song to our community. The Crab Feed is Coming! Mark the date for the St. Felicitas Crab Feed! Join us on Saturday, January 20th 2018 for cocktails, dinner and the auction. More details are coming soon! Bancroft Uniforms Bancroft Uniforms is having a 20% off sale through Sunday, December 31st. Take advantage of this discount if your student is in need of any new uniform items! Christmas Outreach for St. Vincent de Paul The Student Council Outreach project has begun! We are asking for every student to decorate an ornament and donate a $10 Target gift card which will be used to purchase necessities for families in our area. Please see the flyer that went home! Parish Christmas Pageant On December 24th at the 5 pm mass, children in Kindergarten- 6th grade are invited to participate in the Christmas Pageant! Please see the flyer for all the information. Coffee Talk with the Principal The last Coffee Talk of this year takes place on Friday, December 15th at 8:30 am. Join Mrs. Jorgensen to discuss what s happening at school! Breakfast with Santa! Last Sunday, Santa visited us and stayed for breakfast. Thank you to everyone who helped make this year such a success! The kids had a great time!
