Mother s Day is Sunday, May 13, 2018 The Ladies Guild is having their Mother s Day Bazaar on Sunday, May 6th in front of the church from 8:30am to 1:00pm. Shop for your mother, grandmother and abuela. We will have assorted gifts, jewelry, beautiful aprons, kitchen towels and pot holder sets, plants and delicious baked goods. Come join us, every Wednesday beginning with a rosary at 7PM Followed by an hour of adoration with the Blessed Sacrament! The Blessed Trinity Church Sustaining Donors program offers consistent giving to the parish through monthly automatic contributions with a credit card or bank withdrawal. Online donations are credited to your tax statement for the end of the year (except when made anonymously), and you can change your account preferences and donation amounts at any time. Register by going online at blessed-trinity.org and click on the egiving link. The Outreach Ministry collects PB & J and/or ham & cheese/ turkey & cheese sandwiches for the homeless. The next collection will be May 1 from7:00 to 7:20 pm in the parking lot in front of the Parish Office.

3 Our non-catholic friends often challenge us by saying that they pray directly to Jesus, that they have a personal relationship, a direct line, the Me and Jesus. We have the same connection but we have an added bonus, Mary, Mother of Jesus and the Saints. We pray to Mary and the saints and ask for their intersession. These are holy men and women who are in heaven with God and can present our case to Him. Being Catholic means we are in a family. It s not a matter of just me and Jesus, it s always WE and Jesus and the we includes Mary and all the other saints. So the next time that you are challenged about praying to the saints, just remind them that we have friends in high places.
