All Welcome The 2018 Diocesan Synod: November 03 rd, 2018, will have a focus on the Anglican Church Marriage Canon. In preparation for this meeting there is one more information session scheduled as follows, prior to Synod Nov. 03 rd, *Tuesday, Oct. 16 th 7:00 pm Greater Chapter Meeting at St. Lukes, open to Priests, Synod Delegates, Layreaders and Deacons. *Saturday, Nov. 03 rd Diocesan Synod at Christ Parish Church, Fredericton, Ordained and Synod Delegates. 6 Trinity has been in conversation with St. Andrews-St. David (SASD) United Church over the past several months, as they were investigating options for their Ministry and Outreach. After the sale of their building SASD have secured space in the Admiral Beatty Complex adjacent to Trinity, Charlotte Street and are in the process of renovating this space for Worship. Trinity welcomes SASD as they will be renting the kitchen, Bennett room and middle room every 4 th Tuesday of each month for their Community Dinners. SASD serve upwards of meals. In addition SASD will use the Bennett room for the month of November for their 10:00 am Sunday Worship and the Bennett Room Thursday evenings 5:00 pm 7:00 pm for Choir practice. We plan to have a joint coffee hour following our respective services an opportunity to renew some old friendships and make some new ones with our soon to be New Neighbours. Please pick up an extra box of cereal with your grocery order and bring it to Church on this Sunday. By this gift Trinity is supporting St. Luke s street ministry who make available through the week cereal to anyone who comes through their doors. Each Sunday, Trinity receives upwards of thirty boxes which are delivered on the following Monday. What an amazing collection of cereal! The support of your congregation continues to humble me! The group is looking for new items or lovingly cared for used items. Symphony Chorus & Orchestra, November 16 th, :00 pm at Trinity Church 115 Charlotte St. The concert will celebrate All Saints.those that have gone before and the 100 th anniversary of the end of the First World War. Music will be Faure s famous REQUIEM and elegant CANTIQUE with New Brunswick s well-known operatic baritone, Paul Bustin. Featured also with the 50-VOICE CHORUS and CHAMBER ORCHESTRA will be Saint John recitalist Michael Molloy on Trinity s new organ, along with King s Choral Scholar, soprano Mary Louise Belyea. Advance ticket sales are available now through the Imperial Theatre ( ). Ticket prices $30.00 each at Box Office, $35.00 each at the door, students - $10.00 each. 7
