Ask the hospital staff to verify that your religious designation is correct on your hospital records, and 2. Have a family member or friend notify the parish office that you are in hospital and would appreciate a visit.

2 DUTY ROSTER for next week is listed on St. John s website: A Vestry meeting will be held on Sunday, July 13, at 12:30 p.m. to develop a concurrence committee for the selection of a new incumbent. A light lunch will be available following the 10:30 service. This is a critical time in the life of our parish and your input is very important. Open Streets Thunder Bay - is a pilot program that will open up more than 5km of Algoma Street on Sunday July 13 so that people can have fun, meet their neighbours and be physically active. Algoma Street will be closed to traffic between 8:30 am and 2:30 pm. Road crossing through police directed intersections are available including Pearl Street. Further information including a map is posted on the bulletin board across from the Sacristy. Please remember that July 13 is also the day for our Vestry Meeting. The Anglican Journal & The Algoma Anglican - There are copies of the June edition at the back of the church for anyone who doesn t receive a copy in the mail. Please help yourself if you would like one. Please note - the midweek service (on Thursday) is cancelled until further notice. St. John s - Doors Open Thunder Bay, Saturday, Sept. 6. St. John s will once again be one of the stops for Doors Open Thunder Bay. This year the theme for the event is military history and, as the regimental church for the Lake Superior Scottish Regiment, we have been invited to participate. If you are interested in helping with the preparations or in participating on September 6 (or both!) Please contact Marg Boone. A Hearty Thanks - to everyone who faithfully donates to our food cupboard. We continue to have many individuals and families using the cupboard on a regular basis. Thanks also to all the volunteers who assist with the operation of the cupboard. Donations of food items are needed for the AIDS Committee Thunder Bay - Mothers Cupboard container at the back of the church.
