3 Thank You to the entire parish family for your willing contributions toward another successful take-out lunch. Thanks to all who canvassed, peeled, carried, mashed, cut, mixed, baked, served, wrapped, delivered, cleaned, ordered meals and/or made financial donations. Our goal of 875 meals was easily met, and we realized a profit of $7, for the General Fund. With appreciation, from the Organizing Committee Why Me Song: The Rector and the Choir will sing the song, Why Me, Lord on June 24. We are asking for donations to sing and the money will go to Mothers Union to send a kid to camp. Tithing Envelope #35: Whoever has tithing envelope 35 is asked to contact the church office. Containers: There are a number of containers on the kitchen counter some with names and some without. Please check them. Fundscrip Gift Card orders are due next Sunday, June 24. Order forms are available on the table at the back of the church or on the table outside the office. Orders being paid for by credit card may be placed at the church office this week. Please take note that there is a holiday in Quebec as to delivery day of cards. Walking with the Spirits: The Church of the Ascension, Apohaqui, A.C.W. are sponsoring a Walking with the Spirits event on Saturday, July 21. We move along with a brief look at the beautiful stain glass windows in the church; then move outside listening to 7 speakers as they represent the spirits of those buried in the cemetery followed by dessert in Medley Hall.
