PICNIC NEWS.50/50 & RAFFLE TICKETS: Sold chances can be turned in at the 50/50 & raffle stand, extras are in the back of church. WORKLIST: If you are unable to work your assigned shift, it is your responsibility to find a replacement and contact your assigned chairperson/captain. We need everyone s cooperation and help to make the picnic a success! PIES/BREAD: Each family is asked to donate at least 3 pies and 2 loaves of sliced bread. Sugar free items and cupcakes are needed. COUNTRY STORE: Each family is asked to donate 2 or more items for the Country Store. Please mark your items as to what it is and price if you wish. Label items and include any ingredients that may cause allergic reactions such as nuts, gluten, etc. PICNIC ENVELOPES: To help offset expenses for the picnic (meat, supplies, etc.), your donation can be put in the collection basket. HIGH CHAIRS: If you have a highchair or booster seat that could be used in the dining room, please bring to school by Sunday morning. Be sure your name is clearly marked on them. DEBIT/CREDIT CARDS: will be accepted the day of the picnic. NO LIQUOR SERVED TO MINORS AT PICNIC The Division of Alcohol and Tobacco Control says if anyone sells, vends, give away, or otherwise supply intoxicating liquor to any person under the age of twenty-one (21) years shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor, punishable by a fine of not less than $50, nor more than $1,000, or by both such fine and jail sentence. Please act responsibly and have fun! We want to see everyone at Mass next weekend. Chairpersons please inform those working in such stands of the law. TABLE WAITERS: Please dress appropriately for waiting on our guests. No halters, spaghetti straps tops or short shorts permitted. Also, please be considerate using your cell phones while working you are there to serve our guests. PARKING: Please be courteous and allow our guests to park in the paved parking lot.

2 SCHOOL NEWS. NO School at Holy Family School on Monday, Sept 3. September birthdays will be celebrated at lunch on Tuesday, September DON T 4. Happy FORGET...The Birthday to the following FIRST students: item Charlie on Berhorst, the Quilt Carmen Auction Falter, Eli will Tobin, be Ava a Berhorst and Curtis Falter. September baptisms will be celebrated with Father Bill giving the participants a special blessing at the 7:45 a.m. Mass on Wednesday, September Dinner 5. for 8 prepared by our very own Father Bill. Congratulations to the following students: If you Elsie get Falter, the bid, Nora you Rehagen, will not Nate be Rehagen, disappointed. Kara Bastion, Mitchell Falter, Alexandra Struemph, Megan Borgmeyer and Cami Wieberg. Please start saving your Joe s register receipts from Sept 1, 2018 thru March 31, 2019.You can put them in the box in the back of church or send to the school office. This small project helps get free equipment for our classrooms. Thanks for your support! High School Youth Rally 2018 Called To Greatness, Saturday, Sept. 8, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. All High School students 9 12 th grades are encouraged to attend! Need a few adults, too. NOTE DATE CHANGED.The FIRST Class for Confirmation candidates has been rescheduled for Wednesday, September 12. Church Cleaners for September..Betty Berhorst, Jill Berhorst, Careen Struemph, Erin Berhorst, Paralee Kloeppel, Helen Weed, Cindy James. Fees for PSR and Confirmation classes to help pay for the materials is $10 per student and can be placed in the collection basket (in an envelope marked PSR ) or mailed to the parish office. The Renewing Our Faith group watched Part one of the DVD and we will be viewing Part Two of Signs from God on Tuesday, September 4, 2018 at 7:00 p.m. We can ensure it will be an experience that will bring a better understanding of Jesus in the Eucharist.
