2 Page 2 Fourth Sunday in Ordinary Time National Catholic Schools Week is the annual celebration of Catholic education in the United States. It begins Sunday, January 29th and runs all week, concluding on February 4, Scout Sunday Mass Celebration at St. Kilian Church February 5, 2017 at 9:00 a.m. Come celebrate that a Scout is reverent! All Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts, Venture Crews, Girl Scouts, American Heritage Girls, and leaders (and their families) are welcome. Please wear your Class-A Uniform to Mass. Please arrive at 8:30a.m. Any Scouts who have received a Religious Medal and new Eagle Scouts will be recognized at Mass. Adult Confirmation A class is forming now for those who were baptized and received First Holy Eucharist but were never confirmed. We will be conducting weekly sacramental preparation on Sundays during Lent in preparation for Confirmation during the Easter Season If you are interested in the Sacrament of Confirmation, please stop by the Parish Office and fill out a registration form. If you were baptized but did not receive any other sacraments and would like to inquire about preparing to receive Holy Eucharist and Confirmation, please stop by the Parish Office to fill out an inquiry form to begin sacramental preparation with our RCIA group. Over 150 kids and adults enjoyed Hot Dogs and all the trimmings! Our hard working volunteers cooked hot dogs, popped buckets of popcorn, collected lots of food donations and gave away over 45 raffle prizes! Special thanks go out to our Confirmation II Candidates for their help serving, supervising and cleaning up. We appreciate everyone who sent in Raffle Prizes, especially all the terrific Finding Dory stuffed animals! What a great way for our kids and families to have a fun night out and enjoy being together! RELIGIOUS EDUCATION OPEN HOUSE All are welcome!
