7 St. Kilian Catholic Church Page 7 Instructions for Parishioners who receive low gluten hosts for Holy Communion: CENTERING PRAYER Please arrive 15 minutes prior to the start of the Mass. Place your personal Pyx containing an unconsecrated host into the small Pyx ciborium on the gift table located at the entrance to the Church. Locate and advise an usher that you will be receiving Holy Communion using your Pyx. Sit in the middle aisle area so that you may be ushered to the front of the Priest s line to receive Holy Communion prior to the rest of the assembly. Centering Prayer is a method of silent prayer that seeks to deepen our experience of God by moving from conversation to communion with Him. Please join us for Centering Prayer on Thursdays at 7 p.m. in the Parish Center. All are welcome. Our group meets on Thursday evenings in the Parish Center at 6:30 p.m. This is not therapy or professional counseling but IS a place where we can share our stories and walk the journey of anxiety and depression together, with others who share our struggle.
